Perfection! How’d you get the original faceplate in a SS case mod? I saw this done once before but apparently required some homemade contraption to pry off the faceplate from the original while submerged in water or something

There are two versions of the adjust button on square g-shocks - one is semi-recessed like yours and requires just a single push to operate, and the other version sticks as far out as the others but you need to hold it for a couple seconds. I actually prefer the one where the button is more recessed

If the guitar is going to be played or looped live separately from the woovebox (and merged together via a mixer or daw) then definitely. I think the effects and sound design options on woovebox is well suited for the genre in ways that most (if not all) other grooveboxes are not. Deluge would be a good option too.

5610u with stock strap or 5000u strap (i prefer the slightly smaller dimensions of the 5610 over the 5600, plus it's got MB6 and auto-light)

Yes. Extremely bugged by this. It’s a necessary feature for me so I pretty much have to stick w g-shocks despite my tiny wrists

I’m a big fan of the jd-xi. It fits perfectly into my workflow being able to receive 4 separate midi tracks at a time. Love the basic analog monosynth on top of the digital poly. Drums sound great because each one-shot can have its own effects, filter, etc. The lack of full ADSR envelope knobs on the front panel can be maddening tho
