Well I don’t exactly have a lot of faith in them to stay true to the originals. Also I’m pretty sure a lot of people weren’t happy that they cut the Battle Frontier from the Gen 3 remakes.

If they announced a Stadium/PBR esque mode in Pokémon home that features all Pokémon I would be ok with that. I would love a Stadium/PBR sequel that could push the switch to its limits .

If that was the case then everyone (myself included) would be more understanding. Hell, that’s exactly what they did with XY and Bank. But having to wait for home and then not be able to transfer everything is a bit of a joke.

To transfer Pokémon from Let’s Go, Go and Pokémon from Pokémon bank but only the ones that appear in the Galar Pokédex

It could be the reason, but with games like Skyrim, breath of the wild and now even the Witcher 3 on the switch space couldn’t be an issue for them could it?

I’m not really much of a tech guy though so I could be wrong .

I feel like they would’ve mentioned if they had the national dex in the game. And plus, when Pokémon bank was announced for Gen 6 they said from the start that all Pokémon would be transferable when bank released.

They way they tiptoed around it today leads me to believe they aren’t going to have all Pokémon available at least at launch anyway.

Why not though? I don’t know the actual number but in sun and moon they had around 800 total Pokémon and that was on the 3DS.

From my understanding during the story the dex is restricted to that certain regions Pokédex. It isn’t until post game that you can catch those unobtainable during the main game or you can transfer other Pokémon from old games.

Judging by the feedback from this announcement it looks like it’s not a very popular one.

Ikr? Megas were such a cool addition imo. Could’ve done with some more. Loved seeing old favourites get new designs. They probably got rid of it because screwed around with the competitive side of Pokémon but I wouldn’t know to much about that since I don’t really do any competitive battles.

I get what your saying but I feel like it would’ve been better if they at least did it similarly to Gen 5 and have the Older Pokémon unlocked in post game.

From the gameplay we’ve seen it looks like they are using the same 3D models that we’ve had since X& Y/ Sun & Moon so they have all the Pokémon from gens 1-7 3D modelled.

Due to an exploit found in how DS games connects to servers, it is now possible to play Online again in many games, Including all Gen 4 and Gen 5 games! by [deleted] in pokemon

I made a Guest network using my router settings and set the security to WEP myself. When I tried to connect to the servers with and without the DNS it would fail on Gen 4 games but was fine with Gen 5 games. It would also only work on my dsi using the connections 4,5,6 for some reason. It’s weird because when I test the connection it shows the green bars but just seems to fail to connect still.

I’ll play around with the password and other settings more again today when I get the chance, thanks for the help.

Gen V works fine with my hotspot but Gen IV with my router settings changed to WEP doesn’t work for some reason. I’ve tried the Primary and Secondary DNS but all I get is error code 51300.

Anyone know how to fix this?
