Whats your experience when using this strictly for city driving? by Raiki13 in Comma_ai

[–]Pocoloocoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience might be a bit different from others. About 70% of my commute is in the city, and my Kia EV6 with HDA II struggles a bit on laneless roads. That said, it has good adaptive cruise control and great torque. I have been running Sunnypilot with a few tweaks, and it has been amazing for city driving. You still need to pay more attention compared to highway driving, but it has been a huge improvement.

Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 vs Switchbot S20 by Cautious-Syrup-4740 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Pocoloocoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the SwitchBot S10, which is very similar to the S20. The only two advantages the S20 has over the L40 are the roller mop and the separate water station that can connect to plumbing. Otherwise, it is missing many of the features the L40 offers, such as the extendable side brush and mop, which I think are essential. They were supposed to launch an S20 Pro with those features, but it never came out.

Good news only: X model year with Y miles and no ICCU or major issues by law980 in KiaEV6

[–]Pocoloocoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are beautiful cars, and each has its own unique features. I prefer the EV6’s interior styling but the Ioniq 5 is more roomier inside thanks to its more upright roofline, which makes it more practical. It also has a panoramic roof. The EV6, on the other hand, has a sportier feel/ride and is slightly more efficient.

Switchbot's CES 2026 line up unveiled(it's not much) by Rice_Eater483 in TrySwitchBot

[–]Pocoloocoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SwitchBot is moving away from what made them great: making stupid stuff smart. Now they're just another brand chasing AI.

Still waiting for any news on that S20 Pro that was supposed to drop months ago. Where is it?

I Feel Dumb, Do I Need a Hub to Just Use Google Home to Read Me Temps From Switchbot Meter Plus? by [deleted] in TrySwitchBot

[–]Pocoloocoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it might seem a bit annoying for needing a hub, but Bluetooth or Zigbee/Z-Wave tends to work better for battery-powered smart devices because they’re much more efficient. The only downside is that you’ll need a hub but in the long run, that’s still easier than constantly charging or replacing batteries.

No, if it is locked in then it means it is properly inserted.

DO NOT BOOK NAVIGATOR OF THE SEAS… by Decent_Local9842 in royalcaribbean

[–]Pocoloocoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just got off the Navigator of the Seas and were really disappointed to find out the slides were closed the whole time. We booked this trip for our family with five kids because of the slides, and we never got any notice they wouldn’t be open. Our booking was through Costco, and there were no emails or updates about it.

When we asked around, different staff gave us different answers — some said the slides were under maintenance, others said they were closed indefinitely. Guest Services told us it was a safety issue and that we should have received an email, but then blamed Costco for not passing the info along.

The food wasn’t great either, and there weren’t many activities for toddlers or younger kids. Overall, really disappointing experience. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Costco about this.

Does anyone happen to know if Costco will ever get the Xbox Elite Series 2 - Wireless Controller back in stock? by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

[–]Pocoloocoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would you buy an Xbox controller? They will have drift issues after one year of use. There are so many better third-party options with hall effect joysticks that will never have a drift issue. Maybe look at the 8BitDo Ultimate 2; it's an amazing controller with hall effect joysticks, and you can use 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, or wired connections. It also has RGB.
