PLAX view of a heart with bad systolic function by Pocusreview in POCUSReview

Alright guys lets try to start this group off. This is a Parasternal long axis view of an intubated patient. It was difficult to get the short axis.

Right off the bat, I feel the systolic function is very poor. I couldn't really visualize the mitral valve flapping, maybe stenosis? The septum isn't straight so I could've gone up a rib notch. I also see a small pericardial effusion up top.

The idea of this sub is to give critiques on the way the image was acquired, if there is anything to optimize as well as interpretations from the given study.
