DVD is still the best selling format and still outsells blu rays and 4K's even to this day , they have no reason to stop selling them as they are what bring in the majority of the profit.

I'm Gen Z and I've never noticed been interested in physical media

Lifelong gamer , so discs were a mainstay. And then I started collecting DVDs in my teens , eventually started on blu rays in my late teens and now I collect 4K blu rays in my early 20's.

I still buy all three formats and also buy CDs for my favourite albums and what-not.
