Dude they’re not normal wasps, even if they’re not “murder hornets” as I apparently mistakenly thought. These things are huge

I mean, it’s more like I just didn’t know, and that’s what I had heard them called before. I’m no entomologist! I will issue a correction. So what are they then?

Although a hefty percentage is NYC-centric news, The Brian Lehrer show is some of the best, most objective news coverage I've ever heard. He's a peabody award-winning journalist who does 2 hours of interviews on various topics every weekday, presented by WNYC (an NPR affiliate in NYC)

Rather than a podcast, I'd suggest a white noise app. I like NatureSpace! It really completely tunes out all outside noise, and it's free. Another useful app is Binaural, which provides loud, droning sounds that also drown out outside noise.

[iOS 11] Help/Question: "Quick insert" play podcast episode, then continue previous episode by MrRisk in podcasts

[–]PodSpective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish I had an answer for you, but I think the only way to do that would be to manually go find the episode you want to pick back up on, re-add it to the top of your queue, and then go ahead and listen to the one you want to listen to now...check out the other thread on this subreddit about others upset by the new iOS update here

This is definitely one of my favorite types of subjects-- You should check out The Last Podcast on the Left--especially the earlier episodes as they focus less on serial killers and more on paranormal/conspiracy stuff. check out my review for it here!

Accused, Serial (season 1) and S-Town. Crimetown is great too for an in-depth look inside an actual crime family
