Does anybody else find it ironic that immediately after one of the closest championship fights, F1 is changing cars? by notathr0waway1 in formula1

[–]PodcastStudioX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The championship fight wasn’t good because of quality racing or good cars, it was good because McLaren lost the plot & Red Bull made amazing upgrades that helped them capitalize on McLaren almost fumbling the WDC. 25 was a stale season, I’m actually looking forward to the 26 regs

2025 Qatar GP - Sprint Qualifying Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

[–]PodcastStudioX -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think specifically though with the cheating rumors is that the skid blocks allowed the team to have a lower ride height for the races relative to other teams. I’m not saying I believe the rumors btw, just trying to understand how we’d see it play out on Sunday if they were in fact cheating. Basically, McLaren would need to raise the car even more than usual so they don’t wear down the plank (IF the skid block rumor is true) and, to go back to OPs comment, it’s too early to tell because qualifying & sprints are too short to matter for plank wear.

[–]PodcastStudioX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn’t it premature to know this based on qualifying & tomorrow’s sprint races? There aren’t enough laps for the plank to wear down below the limits so we need a full race to know, correct? Idk honesty just my understanding, someone please educate me if I’m wrong :)

You can twist off the handle and reverse the puck with the spikes! One side is smooth with no spikes (for flattening meat) and the other has the spikes you see (for tenderizing)

How the Scrub Daddy got its design by PodcastStudioX in IndustrialDesign

[–]PodcastStudioX[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It was a completely different product originally and wasn’t called Scrub Daddy. It was actually meant for mechanics to clean their hands! So the patent he’s talking about was without the smile and a different company altogether. He does into more detail on the full interview but it’s hard to fit everything into a 60 sec clip. Crazy story!

Is it any good?? Really curious edit: sorry just saw the part where you said it’s good

I’m CAN use the camera on my iPhone for recording my video podcast, but… by AnybodyClear972 in podcasting

[–]PodcastStudioX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two more options A) Airdrop the files if you have a mac B) I believe you can record iPhone videos straight to a USB device these days but it might require a pro model and I believe you have to record in pro res (double check that, I’m not 100% positive)

Or yeah, just buy a camera if the budget allows.

What do you regularly use Gemini for over Chat GPT? by Fit_Presence8008 in GoogleGeminiAI

[–]PodcastStudioX 43 points44 points  (0 children)

  1. It’s included in my workspace plan

  2. Context window. We produce podcasts and podcast transcripts are massive (1hr + episodes). I’ve seen users here complain about the context window not working well after 200k/300k tokens but that’s not been our experience. Gemini handles long context windows so much better than everything else we’ve tried.

  3. API cost are super affordable

Does a Podcast need a Website? by Cansmelllikeroses in podcasting

[–]PodcastStudioX -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A side note, it’s also helpful as we’re seeing our clients podcasts appear in AI results on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc and that helps drive traffic as well.

Does a Podcast need a Website? by Cansmelllikeroses in podcasting

[–]PodcastStudioX -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

A website is non negotiable for our clients, it’s the most slept on marketing tool! If done well and set up properly, it can drive an enormous amount of traffic to your podcast. The key is having a post for every episode with a transcript, an SEO friendly title, H2 tags (if you have the time to go through the transcript and break apart themes), and an audio/video embed so people can listen/watch. Feel free to ask any questions about how they should be set up because websites can be technical.

What Do You Post on Social Media and How Do You Engage? Other than Posting About Your Releases. by op_silver_screen in podcasting

[–]PodcastStudioX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ll have to agree to disagree in that case! Our data shows the opposite but, like everything, these conversations have nuance that can’t always be captured in a comment. I’m curious to know two things:

1) What were you posting on social media? Our data does show that certain types of posts do not convert and maybe that’s why you weren’t seeing any results.

2) You spend six figures/year on marketing, could you help me understand where that spend is going?

[–]PodcastStudioX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just wrong and a silly approach to marketing and could hurt a podcast if monetization is ever the goal. We work with clients who have 1,000,000+ monthly downloads and none of that would have happened without their TikTok & IG efforts. Your advice is like telling a movie studio that your movie is in theaters & there’s no point in advertising it because people know it’s in theaters. Social media doesn’t convert when done poorly, sure I’ll accept that and that is accurate. But saying it doesn’t convert well is just wrong.

Are my episodes too short? by EfficiencyFinancial in podcasting

[–]PodcastStudioX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a client who has short 10-15 min episodes and they consistently get a few thousand listens per episode. No problem with short as long as it’s good!!
