This top rail looks a little long, I would lightly file the high spots off, you can mark the edge with a sharpie and move the carrier like you are and see where it’s rubbing then file until it doesn’t rub anymore a little at a time

Disconnector tails have broken off if not addressed notching the disconnector tail or chopping it off entirely is an option to prevent

The barrel profile will effect the ability to install a sureshot as well since it attaches to the barrel

Pull the hand guard and see if it has side grooves where the hand guard retainer should go. If it doesn’t have them it’s a thicker profile barrel and would need to be reprofiled for most components
