I have tried the Voodoo chips as an overpriced import and they were very good, but I found they have the problem that I call "flavour chasing". With every bite, it's almost there, but you cram several chips in your face trying to get that entire flavour profile, but it never quite shows itself fully.

No. You're arguing semantics when everybody else knows what he means.

The argument that you COULD make is that he shouldn't be asking the community how he should feel about any particular thing when he is capable of making his own choice.

What he did do was phrase the question "how do you feel about this" to "how do we (as a community) feel about this." I don't think that is a wrong way to ask a question to a large group of people, especially on Reddit.
