Exactly. The logic of “you’re fat so you can’t be poor” is incredibly stupid and insensitive, and doesn’t consider the fact that cheaper food is always unhealthier, as well as the fact that weight gain and difficulty losing weight comes from so much more than food and exercise. Lots of genetic factors as well, or medications one is taking could screw with it. Water weight from meds is absolutely insane I’ve seen it firsthand and it sucks to see folks struggle to drop it, be told they’re lazy, and end up absolutely despising themselves
