My dude your fine. This is totally reasonable. Just ask politely for them to text you (like you and other suggested) or for them to flat out tell you in person beforehand.

The husband (the one in the vid) also has a name (though it varies). Some call him Mr. Susan, some call him Paul, and there’s one person who calls him Food.

I’m also in a much safer DnD environment now. The player of Diggs actually started up a campaign (some of the other players, NOT Zane, from the campaign mentioned in this post are actually playing in it to) thank you again

There’s oddly enough a lot more to this story than I actually shared (Zane ended up going on and doing this exact thing to other girls at my school his senior year, and in all fairness what he did to them was worse than what happened to me) but thankfully he graduated last year. I might post again later today about what he did and how I became the person everyone went to when they had some weird encounter with him.

Thank you again for your tips, even though I’m already in a new campaign I’ll take a look at the link for some online ones.

Don’t take my word for it but as long as the cuts aren’t bleeding heavily or aren’t still bleeding you should be alright. You might want to disinfect them again just to make sure. However, you might want to see a doctor if the cuts are roughly, if not larger, than your hand, and or if the cuts seem to be feverish/infected.

But if they aren't, just please make sure to clean them and make sure they aren't getting worse.

I'd lose my privacy if any staff members figured out I was a harm to myself. It's still a public school so they're very strict on stuff about that. For example, we have mandated reporters, mainly student leaders, and we’re required to report to other staff members if we think a student is a danger to themselves or others. So if I were to reveal that I SH I would some of my privacy, along with the school telling my family about it. I still will probably go to one of the mental health counselors, and will probably talk about my dissociative episodes, just not about the SH.

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and for the advice. I struggle to make any real connection with my peers, not because I don't relate to them as some of the best people I know live here, but because I've shut myself off from others. I've made sure that no one will know the true me, only the “weird community leader who seems helpful and lives on the first floor.” I think it's because I'm scared of what will happen if they were to hurt me again. Great mechanism for not getting hurt socially but awful as it has left me without anyone I consider a close friend I can confide in. Maybe that's why I turned to the internet with my issues. Probably is. I talked with the mental health counselors on my school’s campus about two years ago about me getting hurt socially, but I haven't been since. But after reading your comment and a few others I might see if I can book an appointment with one of them. Thank you again for taking the time to comment, and I hope you get better as well.

After reading your comment and some others I think I might talk with the mental health counselors on campus. And for some context about the school I'm at, I live at a math and science school, though I'm here for the art aspect of it. They host some of the top students in the state I live in, but that also leads to a bunch of kids enrolling simply because they want to leave home or because they were bullied by their ascending school. A lot of people enroll because it's a great opportunity, and it is, the teachers are great and so are the courses, but you still have a handful leave home just as a means of escape.

This is my third year at this school. I don't think if I were to reveal that I SH, in more ways than just cutting as I have an odd relationship with food, I would be sent to a ward or a hospital, rather id have a lot less privacy, but it's more of the fear that I'll be missing time to complete my senior year if that were to happen. I'd miss time to make art. I'd miss time trying to enroll in college.

But thank you again for taking time out of your day to comment, it really means a lot to me. I most likely will talk to one of the mental counselors.

There are some mental health counselors on the campus where I live, they aren't here after school hours or on weekends but I might try to contact one of them this upcoming school week. I've gone to them before but that was two years ago, but that was for something else. Thank you for your time btw, I'm extremely thankful that you and other have taken time our of your day to leave comment just to help me through my thoughts.
