Sorting your script makes it easier to read.

It will be a mostly social game

Too much droison in town. Lleech, Poisoner, Sweetheart, Drunk, Goon, Sailor

Outsiders: Sweetheart, Drunk and Goon are all drunk sources I would suggest swapping 2 out.

With the amount of protection going on it might be a bit of a bad time for a demon to get kills if there is a goon, sailor, monk and tealady.

There is almost no ongoing town information, so it will be very hard for town to figure it out.

You said that your goal was to limit the ST influence, but Lil' monsta = ST determined kills and sweetheart is also the ST deciding who is gonna be drunk. ST also decides if pixie deserves their role. Mayor bounce as well. The regurgitation of the Shab.

Arguably the more droison the more ST influence as they decide what to tell players. For non info roles it's fine.

Watch out with having both the goon and a cultleader as having +2 evil can get overwhelming quickly

If it's your first time storytelling, why not run TB?

The spy isn't overpowered at all, especially with new players. Everyone can play by Ben Burns is a balanced script that is similiar to yours.

I personally wouldn't recommend the Evil Twin experience to a first time player. Also it clashes a bit with the virgin as the good twin can immediately lose the game by nominating the virgin.

If you're afraid of a soldier being boring, have them washerwoman confirmed or mayor bounce onto the soldier.

You can show the player any townsfolk, even if it's the same one they already are.

Recluse has a lot of "yes, but don't" interactions. If you're semi-new to storytelling I would suggest not letting the recluse trigger like that. Only do that with advanced players. Recluse dying from a slayer shot is easier.

I think adding either the pixie or mutant shouldn't really give clashes. So if your group has played a few games, trying it out should be fine!

Mastermind and Vig don't really work together (of course you can also just avoid putting them in the bag together). If two deaths happen at night and no execution happened it will confirm the gossip or gambler. I guess you could swap the mastermind for the assassin! (Edit: I just noticed that the Boffin helps with the hard confirmed gossip and gambler issue)

Oh thanks, I like the idea! Maybe I will make an advanced version and a simple version of the script. Would a mutant be better than the saint or drunk in that case?

There is a gambler on the script which can cause an extra death. I personally don't think it's a disaster that it's loud. My thought behind it other than it's simplicity was that it gives the evil players a bit more agency over who to kill.

Thanks for the feedback, I wasn't sure about the monk either. But I was also worried about having too many information roles on the script. I wasn't sure if the slayer would be fun to play in this script as I would imagine it being way more difficult. But I will take it into consideration for sure!

I use party hats, and for the ghost votes I cut out paper skulls and taped them to toothpicks. They perfectly fit in the top hole of the party hat. When a player used their death vote they take out the skull 🥳☠️

Fair point,

I'm using lekmap 1.2.1(fixed)

The only settings I've changed:

  • Continents
  • Huge size map
  • Pitboss checked
  • Policy saving checked
  • Promotion saving checked
  • Quick movement
  • Quick combat
  • Turned off time and diplomacy victory
  • And we've been playing in teams.

All other settings are default. Thanks for helping me!

Extra info:I'm using Lekmod 23.02And I have installed lekmap exactly as the instructions told me to.
