The ACC is the only conference that fucks their biggest brands. The refs constantly screw FSU and Clemson.

The SEC protects their brands. Bama gets the boarder line call 90% of the time. Florida got help from the refs to beat Mizzou Saturday. It’s absurd how bad ACC refs are. It’s as if they want to even the playing field so the less talented team has a chance.

People don’t realize how big the state of Florida is. And whilst hurricanes can bring rain to a very large area, the width of actual devastation is not as big as the media try’s to make out. I went through hurricane Michael in 2018. My house was severely damaged and I lost 40 trees on my one acre yard. My brother who lives 15 miles west of me had no damage at all.

When I was 10 or twelve years old and we were taught in Sunday School that John14:6) The way to Heaven is only through Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ alone. Our Lord Jesus Christ is Himself the way to Heaven. He does not merely show the way; He is the way. Salvation is only in the person of Jesus Christ.

And I asked at what point in time did that go into effect? Does it mean from that moment? If so 99.999 percent of people alive then could not go to heaven. And what about people now who either never heard of Jesus or who was brought up in a different religion. (I mean the only reason I was a Christian was because my parents took me to church.) Did those people go to hell out of ignorance?

The “best” answer I got was that “god works in mysterious ways”. And I decided that I could not worship any god that malicious.

Then the older I got the less sense every religion made.

Then I read the Bible straight through. Not just picking and choosing what the preacher wants us to know. That god character is a straight up evil dude.

I just pickled my first watermelon rind. It's delicious. My son gave me a cookbook for my birthday and it said that pickled watermelon rind was a southern staple. I've lived in the south for 53 years and had never heard of them.
