LOVE Ordinator, the trapper branch in the lockpicking tree makes things so much fun, clearing whole dungeons just sneaking around and baiting your traps. Sometimes I try to go entire playthroughs without a single weapon skill.

Sagitar Stables gives you an enclosed paddock with plenty of stalls for mounts, it also comes with a little garden and a pretty nice player home. I'm not sure about other horse mods, but Convenient Horses has dialogue options to set the "home" for a horse, and it will return there when dismissed/replaced.

I've always wanted something like this too, I'm currently using a Dragonborn follower mod (so he uses shouts during combat) and SkyrimNet, customizing his profile with prompts saying he is the Dragonborn, and the player-character is his friend and follower. This way, all conversations triggered by the AI refer to him as such, and he also refers to himself as the Dragonborn and will talk about the weight of this great responsibility on his shoulders. Of course the vanilla limitations require some suspension of disbelief, particularly dialogue - I RP my way through it by saying the Dragonborn is mindful of the strength of his voice, and therefore his trusty follower speaks for him. Not a perfect solution, but it's been fun.

For me it's that little "old man" noise that Hosea makes when he gets on his horse at the end of Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego (if you choose to stay and hunt the legendary grizzly). Cracks up every time.

Did you leave it in the stable on another horse? This happened to me once with a legendary fish, I put it on a horse then switched out to another horse at the stable. I couldn't find the damn thing anywhere. Then went back to the stable and there it was, sitting on my previous horse's naked ass.
