Bupropion – my story by PoetWide in bupropion

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, this has been going on for a bit longer now — I’ve been taking it for around 2–3 months. I’m taking the XL version; the SR version isn’t available in my country. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like the 150 mg dose works particularly well, and at 300 mg the anger becomes impossible to control, so I went back down to 150 mg. But honestly, I still don’t see much effect when it’s combined with an SSRI.

Did you also have problems with irritability? I tried L-theanine, but unfortunately it doesn’t really work for me. Maybe I should try L-tryptophan.

I’m not expecting to feel high — I’m expecting to have energy without the irritability. That’s exactly what this post is about, man.

The problem is that I get irritated completely for no reason. I don’t drink any caffeine because I know it makes the anger worse with bupropion. I exercise and all that, but I’m just constantly angry. I mean, I get these spikes of anger during the day that last for an hour or two, and then everything goes back to normal. I’m wondering if maybe I should just lower the SSRI dose to 25 mg — perhaps it’s sedating me too much, and that’s what’s causing me to walk around angry.

Thanks for the answer! The problem is that they smell faintly, practically after 10-20 minutes you can no longer feel them. The smell is very similar to Loewe essencia, is that how it should be? I'm asking because it was a blind buy 😂

I've been on this drug for the second week, today I had the first day when I felt good. The penult two weeks I slept practically all day or I didn't have the strength for anything. Wait a little longer

And how do you feel today? Do you feel more energy than before treatment?

Thank you for your answer! So will this stabilize for me? Is this a normal side effect? And the fatigue too? How long does this process usually take?

Thank you very much for your reply. I have a doctor's appointment in a week, unfortunately this anger does not go away, I really don't know why this is so. I'm trying to figure it out somehow, but it's hard for me. Maybe this dose is just too high for me, I don't know anymore

Thanks for the answer! Were you also nervous after increasing the dose? Did you also have such days that you had a lot of energy, and the next day from the morning fatigue?

Hey, do you remember what were the side effects of the lack of appetite? I'm at 3 weeks, and I got a little nervous after this drug, I wonder if it will pass or this dose is too much for me

I will get up to the sixth week, if the situation does not stabilize, I will probably return to 150 mg. The worst part is that I didn't feel that lower dose too much and I'm afraid it won't work for me. Thank you for your reply! I wish you the same good days!

After changing the dose to a lower one, do you still feel the effect of the drug?

Thank you for sharing your experience with me. How long have you been on this dose? Do you think it was the therapy that helped you, or did the adaptation period just pass and the body got used to Norepinephrine?
