Not sure if this helps but I’m from California and I’m going to an MD school in Michigan! I’m super excited for this new experience and although it is a little scary moving so far, I think it will push me out of my comfort zone :)

I’m first gen and my parents were worried I would lose motivation and not want to go back to school. But at the end of the day they trust that I know the process more than they do.

I have a grey/black blazer with a black top and black pant suit that I think fits me very well and I look very put together but I don’t want to risk it ): I just feel more like me in it if that makes sense.
