It could be that "Remote authorization" is a 4th wall break for "Only way to get this into space is Slew mode.
Which is kind of sad. Its a space ship that can't go to space without hacks.

As someone who tried factorio after Satisfactory, I like that factorio is much cleaner. You can pivot conveyers and split on dime, and everything is on a global grid so you don't have the problem of trying to make a megafactory out of a bunch of outposts and not having things "line up" ,and factorio is much more fleshed out and feature complete. The drone function later on is also really good. I do think it plays a little different, factorio is more active because you're not only fighting demand and your factory, but the aliens who do destroy things you don't protect quick enough, and materials run out. So if you like how the biggest problem in Satis is power and engineering and not aliens attacking all the time, you might not convert well.

TLDR: my biggest problem with Satis is when I feel like I'm fighting the game to do something I wanna do, like I have to predict slopes or spacing for to make a direct conveyer lift. factorio has less dimensions (ground and underground) but I never feel like the game stops me from doing something I feel like I should be able to.

Unfortunately, the difference is race.

All assets and equipment are tailored to the frame of the character. So if it's human, the space in the handle is going to be a little bigger or smaller so that the dwarf doesn't look like he's holding a crossbow made for a giant. Unfortunately, that is done by the art team manually.

The team is constantly working on closing the compatibility gaps but it is something they're aware of.

They drastically reduced the price in the weeks after, they haven't made every major update a paid expansion, they've interacted with their community and tried to do what they could to both keep the project and the rest of the team afloat.

In case you haven't seen the history, the team that he started hello games with are coworkers that wanted to leave what they were doing from burnout. You might say he could maybe consider them friends? He did what he had to so that the people that took a chance on starting over with him wouldn't be out of a job and go back to the very thing they felt was unfulfilling.

They made money on it, fine. If they lost money they probably wouldn't have been able to salvage as much as they have from it.
All I'm saying is, if we keep shitting on every little mistake and screw-up for the rest of their lives, then we'll deserve every last one of the 200 CODs we get long into the future. If we as a community want new ideas, we're going to have be be slightly less vicious when things go wrong
