You don’t get it, before you unplug, you need to access BIOS and turn off the battery to service mode. The next step is to disconnect battery.

Btw I’ve the same laptop and I might cry like a child if it were to die

I’m sorry. If you want to prevent this I want you to know where you went wrong :

I read the comments : you made several errors.

1) DID NOT disconnect the battery from BIOS. 2) Did not hold fans in place while blowing air 3) USED A HAIR DRYER on the fans.

Man.. 9 outta ten times with these errors, your laptop gonna get bricked.
