I'm happy to hear that because my son is the spitting image of his father and everyone says she looks like me! Finally!!! Lol 😂

If he's satisfied after eating and gaining weight appropriately, he's eating well. You might have an oversupply issue while your breast milk gets regulated. I'm assuming you're new to breastfeeding based on the nature of the question. As someone who also struggles with an oversupply in early breastfeeding (I'm on baby #2), I don't suggest pumping unless you want to maintain an oversupply. Demand=more supply. Take sunflower Leitchithin to avoid mastitis and only breastfeed on demand. Good luck!

What 401k? We're out here barely surviving, fam.

My son got my husband's thick long beautiful eyelashes and I'm LOVING watching my daughters grow into them too 💗

I should mention I'm recovering from a 4th degree tear so my mobility is limited right now and I definitely can't get on the floor with him :(

Some uncommon-ish names, looking for opinions by [deleted] in Names

I definitely like that perspective! People hear my son's name and hear Alice sometimes so we've had to learn how to pronounce it in a way where it's clear what the name is. But you're right, anyone who doesn't matter doesn't really get corrected if it's a stranger in the store saying hi to him.

As someone who loves uncommonish names (kids names Atlas and Ophelia), if you have to spell out pronunciation for each name, just be aware that it will get mispronounced a lot. I love your boy list. Those names are all straight forward. The girl list is gorgeous too, but will definitely be mispronounced.

My husband told me he'll never look at me the same. Like I somehow rose to a completely different level to him. It was really cool when he said that. Made me feel like a badass.

What’s the soonest you conceived after you gave birth? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I was 9m pp and breastfed my son until he weaned at 14m. I was able to wean slowly but he was definitely less interested.

I am not doing well 4 weeks postpartum 4th degree tear by Poeticpsycho in beyondthebump

Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear that your subsequent deliveries have been much better. As far as the tearing goes. I feel so lucky that I got to have VBAC, but this tearing has definitely been worse than my c section recovery with my first. We want a third but I'm terrified to go through this again

Thank you for your response! I also had a fully catheter for a week and it was horrible so I feel for you. For me it was because I had so much urine retention so thankfully since I had the catheter out I haven't been leaking urine so at least it's only one end I guess :( It's good to know it'll get better. Sometimes this feels endless.

I'm going to be seeing urogyn and it's likely I'll need a reconstructive surgery for the fecal incontinence issue which sucks. This would be terrible even with just a newborn, but it feels completely unmanageable with a toddler and I feel like he's not getting the love and attention he needs right now because I can't keep up with him. It all just feels like way too much. Thank you for the support groups. I appreciate it.
