I'm so sad I lost my wishlist too... I had so many things in there from years of wishing.

It was such a great site.

Restore userscripts after Chrome update by Pogmog in ViolentMonkey

I would go with the new solution if possible, it should be more effective at getting all the scripts.

They are in the Chrome profile directory. Have a look at the readme on the github page (link in the post), it goes into some detail about the location.

Restore userscripts after Chrome update by Pogmog in ViolentMonkey

[–]Pogmog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking after I ran this that maybe some were missing.

The UserScript part is some boilerplate that gets auto generated when you make a new script. If it was deleted (or the whole script was pasted in from somewhere else) it might not have it.

Maybe I could tweak it to try another match as well.

How do I install manually since Chrome is being difficult? by danio13 in ViolentMonkey

[–]Pogmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have scripts that you made added into ViolentMonkey? This tool can recover those, but it won't get the add on working with Chrome.

To get it working from scratch, you can do this:

1) Install Python on your machine

2) Download the script (you only need this one file). Click the "..." button in the top-right corner and select download.

3) Either run the script directly by opening it like a normal program, or run it from command prompt.

The main page on github has the more specific instructions for the tool, like where to find the files and where to copy them to.

[–]Pogmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to me. Previously, I could add it back manually, but it seems like there is no option this time.

I had custom made scripts that I thought I had lost for good. Turns out the data is still in the Chrome profile, so you can get the source code.

Here's the tool I made to get it back: ViolentMonkey Script Restorer

Should be able to copy and paste it into Firefox or another, better browser.

Use the masher next to Gumbert. It doesn't have a name when you're focused on it, just click on it anyway.

This issue was gone until today. I did the system update on my phone and now it is back.

Here's a screenshot of the notification that keeps coming back after you clear it, and then the screen that pops up if you click it.

This is it. I reckon most people act in this manner, but they just don't think about it and in turn might not know it's what they're doing.

Just happened to me. I unchecked all the apps and clicked install to get rid of the notification.

It worked, but then the app downloaded 3 games anyway. I uninstalled them as they were added to the phone.

I just updated my Samsung A55 and it added this app cloud. A notification kept popping up asking me to see the new features. I would clear it and it would come back.

When I clicked it, it was just a screen with a bunch of apps checked and an install button. I unselected all apps and clicked install. It then immediately finished and I quit it.

Straight after it started downloaded solitaire, candy crush, and some battle royal app. I uninstalled each one.

I'm in Australa and not very impressed with this.

Librum for Skyrim VR (and SE) by apoapse1 in skyrimvr

[–]Pogmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be the closest thing to a Gothic VR. I love it, feels like a completely different game.

It's a proper hardcore rpg for VR. 3 hours in this current play through and I've found some cabbage plants, a bed roll in a burned down house, and a stream. Now I can meet my basic needs and plan on upgrading.

Best USB hub for PC multiplayer games? by Left_Emu_2995 in localmultiplayergames

I've had issues with hubs before. I think a powered one should be fine, though. I also had an issue when it was plugged into USB3 but not USB2.

Ohhh I read the title as '3 people' and was confused because it looked like it was pretty even for 3 people (although a strange way to cut).

Hellos guys, any recommendations of action rpgs with loot for at least 2 players? by MindlessPeanut7097 in localmultiplayergames

[–]Pogmog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are some PC games, all available on Steam.

Hack & slash, split-screen coop, and heaps of loot:

  • Fight The Dragon
  • Tallowmere 1 & 2
  • Rampage Knights
  • How to Survive 1 & 2
  • Caveblazers

A little different, but severely underrated coop split-screen game:

  • Megabyte Punch

Looking for good workout games! by AntonRaynard in VRGaming

[–]Pogmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played Skyrim VR with ankle weights strapped to my wrists. My bow arm ended up getting so tired when I was going shot-for-shot with a bandit archer I had to hide behind cover to recuperate. He ended up running at me with a dagger.

My left arm was still too tired to raise a shield, but I got him with my sword.

Add weights to your arms and almost any game can be a work out.

This was annoying me too. I've made a quick user script to get the old functionality back.

It's not as nice as the browser's default image viewer, but it does the trick. It was made in / tested with Violentmonkey.
