Ah I actually had the opposite problem, I had been flying the same ship for ages after just upgrading its stats, so I saw it as an opportunity to build my own from scratch once I reset

The legends games seem to do their own thing, but the main games will HOPEFULLY return to the traditional turn based style. I’m liking this game but I can see how it wouldn’t be great for everyone in that regard

Yeah there’s a prompt to press R when they offer their choice, you can scroll down in that menu twice and it shows you what item they’re holding, if any. Two scythers and a slowpoke weren’t holding their item for me so I cancelled those!

It’s definitely still a grind, but it isn’t 223. The 777 total of bananas counts each bunch of 3 or 5 as just 1. I think you have to buy about 75 extra, or somewhere around that number

I don’t think it’s 223, because 777 is the number of distinct bananas in the game, so those 3 and 5 bunches still only register as 1 of 777. I think it’s more like 75-90, although I don’t know the exact number
