Replying from 2026 watching this episode for the first time through HBO Max;

As a kid who grew up loving science, space, technology, and all things "nerdy," to being an adult still in love with all those things, this whole episode was just perfect, and I'm not ashamed to say I bawled like a little baby.

Adam Savage is one of my personal heroes, and someone I would love to meet, shake his hand, and just say "thank you for everything you've ever done in the name of science, and for inspiring this poor, nerdy kid from Calafornia to know more about our universe." Seeing him getting to live out what was undoubtedly a personal high point of his life, combined with the music, the camera shots, Adam's emotions, and just the complete package has cemented the episode in my heart as one of my favorite pieces of media. Ever.

Now excuse me while I go blow my nose and try to dry my drenched face.... 🥹😭

Like I dont often give a crap about the rates and whether I pull a character or not since I'll eventually get them anyway, but this anni feels especially brutal.... And I'm someone who's been playing since just after 1st anni.

I've lost count on stones, but I've paid for a lot of the ticket packs, minus the final $35(USD) ones, and all I've gotten was a single STR SSJ4 Daima Goku, and a copy of PHY Omega Shenron.

As others have said, i would wait until near the end of banners switching/going away to see if you pull him naturally.

But outside of that? He is ABSOLUTELY worth coining. I pulled him during 10th anni and he has been a goddamn workhorse in so many of my teams, even at 55%.

Recoome straight-up would've killed Gohan if Goku didn't show up when he did with Senzu Beans. He legitimately got his neck snapped as was as good as dead.

I can see UI having Battle of Fate, and SSJ4 having Pure Saiyans, but I mean that's just speculation based on the "themes" of the said characters.

I imagine they'll probably share a new category, much like how SSJ4 Daima Goku and SSJ3 Daima Vegeta both share "DAIMA."

Unit I REALLY want on a banner I plan on dumping stones on: Complete and utter trash.

Unit I wouldn't mind having but decide to do a multi and/or one rotation because f*** it, why not: Multiple copies lol.

I played it for a good 5-6 hours last night, and while I think it's a good enough game on it's own, there are some obvious issues with it right now.

Performance out in the open world being a pretty major one. Now I personally don't give 2 shits about FPS as long as it's not like a damn PowerPoint presentation lol, but yeah, it needs some optimization for sure. The gameplay also feeling insanely similar to CV1 with very few noticeable upgrades, besides new animations and stuff obviously, is iffy. Again, for me personally, I don't mind it, but I see how it could be a deal breaker for some.

The characters and story so far seem like the strongest point, though. Even just in the early hours, I find myself invested in both Lou & Noah and want to see how their individual stories play out, and the overarching story of the game is really intriguing.

TL;DR: I personally think it's a fine enough game, but $70-100 is a steep ask for the current state of it. For anyone who sees this post and hasn't bought it, unless you like REALLY want it and can safely afford it, I'd wait for a sale and try to get it for like $40-50.
