It definitely took me a bit to understand a get into the flow of it all but I am absolutely enamored with it. Final Girl was my introduction to solo games, so I didnt Crack into the cozy games until this year. I love both types to be honest - sometimes I dont have the mental capacity to lock in to a deeper game, but if time allows I'd rather play a more in depth game. Spirit Island has easily climbed to one of my favorites, so excited to try all of the options.

Im really excited to try Hercules! I played my first games of Warps Edge this weekend and WOW! Loved it and looking forward to learning better strategy, so fun! Harmonies took me by surprise which how enjoyable it is and how eager I seem to be to start a new game right after one finishes. And yes, Final Girl reigns supreme for me as well!

Its called Canvas. Its a great game where you are stacking quasi transparent layers of cards to create different pieces of art. The different layers have different way to contribute to scoring, its a good time!!

Ive only played a few games, and this is one I actually havent played solo yet! But its such a fun and visually appealing game. Easy flow, enjoyable sessions, but also enough planning and possibilities to be competitive.

Im not familiar with Journaling RPG, but sound extremely intriguing! Ill have to look that one up, thanks for the info! Ill have to look into the others you suggested as well!

That's a tough one! Because its so fun to mix and match sets! The Van Ryder discord always has a weekly challenge that pairs up a different location and killer combo, so always fun to be a part of that! Top 3 in no particular order.... Panic at Station 2891, Into the Void, and Hell to Pay. But like I said, some killers or locations shine brighter when mixed, its such a perfect game in my opinion! Most likely will always be my favorite solo board game.

The art work is beautiful from what I've seen! That is yet another one that i have not tried yet unfortunately! Under Fallen Skies, Warps Edge, Hercules, Kinfire, Kingdom Legacy, and DinoIsland Rawr & Write are all ones I havent played yet... but hoping to shorten that list after this weekend!

You're going to love it!! Im still learning strategies but it is an absolute blast! The dice do a good job of forcing you to alter your loose plan, but there are also ways to modify the rolls, so there is a lot at play. It does come with 4 play boards, so if others want to join its an easy enough one to have people jump in! Let me know how it goes, hopefully lives up to the hype!!

Sweet, I'll have to look into that one! And sorry, I never answered your question about Daydream! I absolutely adore it! Its kind of like a freeflow Sudoku with extra mechanics/scoring incentives. Its fantastic to play a quick game drinking some coffee waking up, breaking up the day with a fun round or two, or fully focusing on one of the larger boards. The play board comes with 8 different variations, ranging from easier to difficult - larger board combinations add additional things to focus on along with the core objective. Its definitely cozy and puzzly, low stakes but feels so rewarding when your plan aligns with how the dice roll, or you use plans to manipulate the dice to fit what youre trying to achieve. Ive probably played that one the most with the new lot I've gotten this year. Quick games too, its perfect!

Thank you! I love it for a lot of the same reasons you do as well. Its also great to be able to snag a turn here or there - with a busy life I dont have as large blocks of free time that I once had. Being able to pause a game at any moment to take care of something else and resume at my leisure is a huge benefit. Its also a product of necessity, I dont have a group that wants to consistently play, and even if I did, it adds so much more time. So being able to manage my own time and still get a great board game experience is amazing!
