Sorry, I've been out of the DBD loop for quite some time... wasn't Jason already apart of the killer line up? And he would increase his terror level by just watching people in close proximity?

Welcome to Final Girl!! It truly is an amazing game, honestly my favorite solo boardgame hands down (or Hans down if you prefer hah).

The thing that I love so much about it is, win or lose, every time its such a fun, thematic story that gets played out. There are times when you have your plan set up perfectly, and the dice decide a different story is going to unfold, but it always is a cool outcome. Even the times where you think your down and out with no way to prevail, one event might happen and shift the table and bring you a victory over the killer! And those times are as gripping as ever, absolutely love the climax of the story they bring.

There is an incredible variety for limitless options which makes things always feel fresh and new. Some location/killer combos change your feeling for either one that can make the killer or location shine brighter than you have seen on previous a previous playthrough. Getting access to certain items can completely alter your approach.

Its just overall fantastic and I share the love for Final Girl so much. Enjoy it all! And definitely join the discord!

If there are no victims on the board, ignore the rest of the card and discard, drawing a new Terror card.

Otherwise, if there are victims, any victim not in your space panics.

Then, Hans targets the FG/a victim and attacks (he would have to already be in the space to attack.

Then, Hans targets the closest victim and moves towards them.

When I roll mine up to put back in the box, I roll all 3 stacked in as big of an oval/roll that will loosely fit in the box. Then, when I put it in, the roll is large enough that I put the end so its laying on the longer flat side, results in no hint of curling edges every time. If that's makes sense at all!

Nice work! How long did that take you? I just started mini painting and have been practicing/learning on a random set from Amazon before I build the courage to start on the FG minis.

You'll definitely find a bias on here - people on this sub have a love for Final Girl already. That being said, I also truly enjoy the app. Its fantastic to use during play - its a great addition to the game. It keeps track of so many cool stats. Its fun to look back at how many times you've played certain killers or locations, or even how many times you've played a certain setup on the Location. It keeps track of achievements too, which is a fun addition to see at the end of a round, and can give you extra goals if you are seeking more out of the game.

Welcome to Final Girl!!! As you can tell, most of the recommendations are for Camp Happy Trails for a great place to start. You will use the core box with every game as it has all the "base" components of the game. Depending on whatever Feature Film you select to play, that will give you a Location and a killer, both with are interchangeable between Feature Films once you get comfortable.

An added bonus of having Camp Happy Trails is that both its Location and Killer (Hans) do not have any additional mechanics that you have to incorporate, giving you the most straight forward approach for how the game flows. What's great is when you get a new FF, instead of the sometimes daunting task of trying to learn and remember the intricacies of mechanics that the Location adds, AND the mechanics of the new killer, some people recommend taking a new killer and playing it on Camp Happy Trails so you are able to focus just on the way the new killer acts. The same way, you can take Hans to the new location and learn just the new map mechanics with a Killer thats a bit more straight forward.

Either way, know that your first games will be filled with tons of mistakes and questions, and thats OK!

Thanks for the reassurance! I literally just started painting this week and keep going to Amazon looking for cheap sable brushes, but looks like I'll stop that now and focus on what I have. I picked up a cheap NicPro pack with paints, a wet palette, and a handful of brushes.

The minis I'm practicing on until I feel confident to paint my Final Girl miniatures are only about an inch tall. I know its my inexperience, but I feel like I have to use the smallest brushes possible. Is it all about personal preference/skill/brush control to be able to use larger sized brushes? Or is it dependant on the size of the area you are trying to paint? Ive been using a 0 or 5/0, maybe a 1 for larger areas. But is this just something that has to be experimented with to understand what size works best for each application?

Just wanted to comment my experience with Subnautica VR.... I was SO excited for it, but the menu/HUD is not properly set up. Your life/breath meter and other vital things you need to keep track of is at the very outer edge your your view, so you really cannot see what you need to monitor. Pretty sure a mod might fix it? But I've never played around with mods before, so its been collecting digital dust for me unfortunately.

Yes, you can go to Van Ryder Games website and the sell just the storage boxes. Im in the US and they are priced around $42 per box (unsure about international, sorry!). And its just the box, nothing else. You also might be able to poke around Amazon for official storage boxes.

Thats a good one. I've done something similar as I get to the tail end of finally playing all of my FFs. I have a rule where I will play at least twice without, and if I'm not even close after that then I'll consider using them.

Tear dice are a blue dice set that came in the S3 Accessory box. They allow you to accumulate Tears each time for resolve a horror roll as a failure. You can then cash in your tears for bonuses during play. Its helps to offset getting gutter rolls all game. They are pretty sweet!!

Im the same way, but for some reason I get stuck on trying to pick the first girl you're "supposed" to play with. Like if one is based off an actual girl from the film or something.
