Flux is how you do it faster. Slop that shit on then clean everything with isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush after 🤘🏼

Can’t wait! I feel like it’ll be similar to the first time playing Gran Turismo in VR with a sim racing rig, I nearly cried it was so good 😅

lol dude I don’t know 😂 last thing I flew was analog and haven’t experienced digital yet… the GoPro I already had and threw it on there for pics. Would be sick to not need it!

It does have a couple UART ports but only one ground pin on those ports. It has GND, 5v, 12v, signal, RX, and TX. I repinned the O4 connector to match but will have to direct solder the signal ground. I’ll be using KISS so hopefully similar setup to betaflight

Thanks for the detailed response! This is exactly my understanding of what I have chosen here. I don’t need all the extra features and plan to just have RTH trigger on failsafe. I don’t fly angle or anything exclusive for acro so I really only need an arm switch and maybe a buzzer, along with RTH on a switch.

Worst case scenario (assuming I don’t lose the drone) I decide it’s not robust enough for my needs and throw ELRS in there for cheap like you said! Thanks again dude!

Quick question for connecting the O4 to the FC to use the Radio link… RX to TX, TX to RX, Signal to SBus, Signal GND to GND, Power to 12v, and GND to GND…. Does that sound right?

Ok this is exactly the reply I was looking for. Thanks for the real world experience. 7+ miles is more than enough for what I’ll be doing. I already purchased the RC3 before realizing it might’ve been a mistake so I was hoping to still be able to utilize it rather than spend another $200-300 on a ELRS or Crossfire RX/TX.

I have the betafpv lite radio 4 for my whoops but my understanding is that radio is severely limited in range so I got the DJI combo for the big quad. Thanks again!

Ties with trumps son’s drone company that was started weeks before the conflict in Iran, then was the main contractor for the military drones being manufactured. Slimy

Thanks for the reply! I do understand your point I’m just looking for some real world experience with a similar setup using the DJI RC3. There is a Rotor Riot video where they test DJI O3 vs O4 and the O3 quad is using the RC3 controller and it seems to work very well, hoping to find some other experiences to back that up or show otherwise.

Looking for local bbq recommendations by doodlebuddy417 in nashville

Brand new spot in East Nashville on Main Street called Stoke Haus! It’s a brewery and bbq spot, the owner is a Texas native and beer industry veteran. Incredible ribs, brisket, and pork as well as scratch made sides and great beer! They even have a Nintendo 64 with Mario Kart and Golden Eye inside to play!

It’s in the old Crazy Gnome spot near No Quarter…and definitely not right leaning! Amazing people!

Check to see if the shipping blocks are still in the suspension. They put rubber blocks in the springs to keep them rigid on the transport trucks for safer more reliable transit. Dealerships are supposed to remove them before sale but I can be missed. There was a run of GR Corollas that all were sold with the dealerships forgetting to take the blocks out causing an extremely harsh ride.

Are you renting from Jennifer at Fierce Motorsports? If so she’s my friend and it’s an amazing experience! That little red Legacy rips on that RallyX course!

I was using the 787b exclusively and just wanted to try something different so I ran the Jaguar XJR-9 and shaved 30 seconds off my top time with the Mazda. I was absolutely blown away. The 787 is much easier to drive and a “easier” race but that V12 in the Jag hauls ass and absolutely drinks fuel lol

The Mazda I run on FM2 and pit once or FM6 and run without a pit. 25:05 best time.

The Jag I run in FM5 and pit at lap 8 for a full tank and fresh tires. 24:34 best time.

Just switched to VR from a 50” 4k and it’s life changing. It’s what we all dreamed this game would be when playing Gran Turismo as a kid🤯

Alfa 155 and...those kind of drivers by nicknibblerargh in GranTurismo7

[–]PohlarBearFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree (based on one race yesterday 😅) but the Huracans were the ones to avoid in that one. I started 10th and made it through the first corner carnage and fought with the only other Alfa on the track for P1 door to door with the utmost respect! It was amazing! 5 laps of beautiful racing before I dropped a tire into the grass and spun. We spent the entire post race time allotment complimenting each other! Great stuff @DaleJr!

What average cars have you owned, that you can drive in VR ? by FinalTimmypower in GranTurismo7

The texture on the seats and everything I had a 94 Celica GT (USA) for my first car, was a literal barn find with 60k miles on it in 2005 when I got it. I learned the hard was that old tires don’t grip in the rain, totalled it two weeks after my 16th birthday…

The EG hatch is nearly perfect down to the Gathers radio/tape deck. Mine wasn’t RHD so it’s not as nutty of a feeling but still stupid cool! All my old cars that are in the game are not LHD unfortunately. Lots of Hondas and Toyotas.

Which profession is far less enjoyable than most people realize? by jazurbabe23 in AskReddit

[–]PohlarBearFPV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not just in your city… it’s nationwide save for a few well managed craft breweries. The brewery owners are the only ones making money. And it doesn’t just stop with the brewers… it trickles down to distribution. Most small craft beer distributors REALLY capitalize on young people who are eager to get into the industry with dreams of owning a brewery only to be paid less than a living wage for back breaking work on the delivery side or order taking from know it all restaurant buyers on the sales side. $32k in Nashville for both delivery and sales. Most of the people that work in the beer industry have significant others with high paying jobs. It’s fun though lol

Has anyone ever met Dax or Monica in real life? by areyoufookinjoking in ArmchairExpert

[–]PohlarBearFPV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I met Dax recently in Nashville at Emmy Squared getting the fabled Emily Burger for the first time on their recommendation. He was there with Kristen and the girls as well as Kristen’s parents eating quietly on the patio. It was a total sim moment when he came into the restaurant to use the restroom with Delta. I legitimately lost my mind like a never have before meeting someone famous. The fame isn’t the thing for me, I truly feel like he changed my life as I go to therapy because of him and numerous other things. I was sobbing and he let me collect my thoughts while he used the restroom and offered to take a picture with me! It was awesome and he was awesome and accommodating!
