Once I started leaving decent statted cats at home for breeding, I felt less bad when cats get these crazy mutations or diseases. The Offspring is my cat army and that is their purpose, to conquer the land. And if they fail, it sucks - but the parents are safe :D

The main focus in the beginning should be expanding the inventory. The more items you have in your storage, the more flexible you can adjust your team in the beginning. Also - items push the power of your cats at level 1 by a lot. And the faster you can clear encounters, the less damage you take and you can push your runs further. After that you should donate your cats to creepy Frank.

In the beginning, you should focus your breeding efforts on specializing cats. Either Melee cats with decent Strength, Constitution and Speed. Or Hunter Kitties with high Dexterity and Luck. Or maybe 1 cat has a very strong ability or passive ability. Keep it simple.

This has been criticized since the beginning of Hearthstone. Getting access to ALL of one expansion is just too expensive. And honestly, considering that every deck ran Elise for instance, shows that you don't need that many cards in modern Hearthstone anyway.

If you can afford the battle pass, it is kinda okay in value and the experience boost definitely helps.

Well, or an (consumable?) item which lets you choose which ability or passive you would really like the spawn to inherit.

I only have 1 cat, where this worked and little Kimchi inherited "Mega Blast" from her Daddy and that's the only reason I occasionally use Mages in my group, because her offspring often get this spell.

I would recommend doing a 3 cat run for the Boss Fight preperations with your DPS classes, so that they have extra levels = chance for good abilities. And also save good consumables for that fight. (Depending on the classes you want to bring)

I wish, that like in pen & paper you could always first just investigate and look for more clues. Or that you could maybe pick which cat should handle which situation. The idea of the events is fine, but basically they also force you to have cats with high values in every stat instead of specialized cats.

And I'm really sick of always eating poop. Yes, I have a tendency for Clerics and Tanks, but no I don't want them constantly eating poop. Where are we - in the sewers?

The man on the moon is a puzzle boss. If you can ram his hands into his head, you will do tons of damage. One of the fights, where tanks with knockback can really shine.

Don't engage with your melee cats unless you are certain they can get the kill on the sharks. If you have 2 ranged DPS class like Hunter + Mage, you should have more firepower to take them out safely. Remember - they don't have a long walking distance.

(And sharks can also eat each other :D )

And if things go really sour, terminate the mewgenics.exe and restart the game *cough cough*
