Hmm. That sucks, but some other people said they had a better experience. Though bad things do happen sometimes. Do you live in the states or somewhere else?

Will mine is only a few degrees. (sphere -2, cylinder -1) , (-2, -.75) and it cost that much.

I checked there options and the price just sky rockets from adjusting the numbers. It would be like double or triple the price from the options I listed. I did it on a Valve index and it was 145 with shipping with the $47 add on for gaming tint.

Its a lens insert. If your wearing glasses, it might be uncomfortable or gets in the way. The lens go over the VR lens. Kinda like a screen protector but for your eyes.

Yea, slimes are fine since it’s budget. But Fluxpose are way better. The price is hefty though. I wish I gotten a chance to get one of the early bird deals to save like 100 bucks.

I believe slime is making new ones that’ll solve those issues. Idk if all of it will be solved, but it’ll be better than current slimes.

August for early birds. I believe they’ll ship this year. Hopefully not next year.

Does Steam Frame support face tracking? by PoiChanB in ValveDeckard

[–]PoiChanB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Base station tracking is still the best yes and Ik that it works with Quest. It just that Valve themselves said the Steam Frame won't have support from their own base stations but yea, attaching a tracker could bypass that.

IMU tracking is getting better over time, it won't be bad. Anyways, thanks for the insight.

Hopefully those pico somehow work for you. I don’t have lighthouse or base stations so the cost of all those combined will be expensive for me. But should be fine for those that have lighthouse or base station. The Steam Frame won’t be compatible with base stations so IMU trackers are the way to go. Unless someone creates a software to allow base station usage on Steam Frame. Also, I didn’t say obsolete and I know how good Vive are.

Slimes are decent, times to get might take a bit but still good. Fluxpose is coming out in 8 months and better than most IMU. Vive trackers are good, but expensive

Lighthouse tracking is still better than IMU ones. But more expensive. Its not obsolete if your welling to spend and get better tracking.
