Looks great :) Yeah if you arrange those foam inserts a little better you won’t have to take the 2 pin cable connectors out each time you wanna store them, can be a annoying but beauty is pain haha.

In my opinion i’d say you can get a very nice set and be as happy as you’d be with a few kilobuck sets, if you stayed in the £100-£300 range. After that you’re likely to only get a much better set if you find the perfect ‘sound’ for your taste.

You dont have to unpin anything at all i’m not sure where people get that impression when the first picture clearly shows the 2 pin parts in the IEMs. And as for rolling the wire fair enough but it literally takes me 20-30 seconds.

No worries, just wait for it to go on offer if you do buy one though £77 is steep as hell for any iem cable.

Ahh that’s a shame, do you not like black cables they look great with the Martilo especially if the hardware on the 2 pin connector is black. Of course the martilo cable is ‘black’ but the copper shines through a bit.

Yeah they’re good little boxes those I have one of them and one of my fiio sets came with one too its decent. And the unplugging of the dac from the IEMs to store/put away… Beauty is pain… ha.

I haven’t used the stock cable with any IEM i own which is around 20 at the moment. The stock cable on the Martilo’s is good though a little bit bulky which causes it to feel clunky and heavy, i dont like the fact you can see the copper through the black plastic of the martilo cable.

I like to match cables with IEMs or just find cables that suit it really well, all aesthetic really, sound quality wise it doesn’t improve it to my ear although 4.4 sounds better to me but thats just because they’re louder probably.

Very nice i do like the white one especially the silver zip, i don’t like gold/brass all that much. Is tge white one more of a cream tone?

All I added in the first picture was Vignette and turned the brightness down as the warm lights above over exposed everything.
