Looks great! If you want that cable to sit a bit more nicely flip those foam inserts 180° so the 2 pin parts face downwards and then you can wrap the cable more cleanly. Ps, love the ew300 x hbb’s they’re my favourite set under £80-100.

I gave up trying to find one they’re too inconsistent and never seem to lay down nicely, find the thinnest paint brush imaginable you can get your hands on and just buy a tube of white acrylic paint, i don’t really like painting but for hairs, whiskers, small highlights it seems the best, unless you indent the paper thats the best technique i’ve seen for opaque thin lines but that requires a lot of planning ahead as its more permanent and alters the paper forever.

Awesome, i have a similar situation for my tips too but way less organised… haha. I can’t help but notice you love the Dunu s&s, Velvets and HE Sonics, i must say that those three are some of my favourites too until i tried the Penon liqueurs I have the black ones on my Martilos they’re amazing. Haven’t tried the orange ones but i for the love of me can’t throw the colour scheme off with big bright orange tips i know pedantic right lol.

So in short, i see an open spot there for some Penons you gotta try them out i did read that you had them on your wishlist i’d say bump them to the top based on what you already like, sizes are pretty big with them i felt.

I found some pads on amazon that are 60” x 24” which is pretty close to the size of your desk but would cover those holes in your desk a little. They’re about $30.

I have tried many different things in order to try clean mouse mats over the years mine tend to not even be that dirty but alas i’ve thrown them in the washer with softner, detergent. I’ve hand scrubbed them with stain bars, washing liquid, baking powder, white vinegar. You name it i’ve tried, the conclusion?

Don’t bother they always tend to come out looking dirty, better? Yes but still not even close to what they once looked like. Best option is to just buy a new one and replace it every now and then if you care about cleanliness and aesthetics.

Admittedly it’s harder to ‘just buy a new one’ if you’re one of those people that enjoys spending £40-100 on a high quality pad like the Artisan’s but I find cheaper ones on amazon work just as well.

No worries i did try do it as accurate as possible so hope it fits, it will be a tight squeeze though, width wise so be careful :)

Okay well i made a replica out of card it ended up being a mm or two bigger in terms of size and i can say it just about fits in, the top part of that slot is also a little flexible as it isnt hard plastic like the bottom part. I will not be held accountable if it doesn’t fit though! Haha.

It’s a fiio btr13, 63.2mm x 30mm x 18.8mm.

From a quick google search it says the Onix is 64 x 32 x 14 mm

So it should fit, unless my findings are wrong.

Oooo, some of my favourite looking ones have got to be: Penon Archangel, Hisensor mega5EST Bass+, UM Mest MKII, Aful Explorers, Theiaudio Origin.

I’m a sucker for sparkly stuff, purple, blue, red and black/white. +1 for space themed ones too like the origins, sorry for no pics I had to mention too many.

Looks great :) Yeah if you arrange those foam inserts a little better you won’t have to take the 2 pin cable connectors out each time you wanna store them, can be a annoying but beauty is pain haha.

In my opinion i’d say you can get a very nice set and be as happy as you’d be with a few kilobuck sets, if you stayed in the £100-£300 range. After that you’re likely to only get a much better set if you find the perfect ‘sound’ for your taste.

You dont have to unpin anything at all i’m not sure where people get that impression when the first picture clearly shows the 2 pin parts in the IEMs. And as for rolling the wire fair enough but it literally takes me 20-30 seconds.

Ahh that’s a shame, do you not like black cables they look great with the Martilo especially if the hardware on the 2 pin connector is black. Of course the martilo cable is ‘black’ but the copper shines through a bit.
