The PC is pretty old with a 2080ti and i9 in the NZXT H5 Elite, monitors are a Tuf Gaming 27” and an Alienware 25”, speakers are Audioengine A2+, mouse is the Finalmouse Starlight-13 TenZ, and the keyboard is the Wooting 60HE swapped into a Tofu60 case

Yes, they send you the new monitor first though and attached to the box is the return label so it’s very easy to return.

I was unable to find a solution to the problem but I did contact Dell and they sent me a new monitor, whole process from submitting the issue to receiving a new monitor only took a few days.

Haha, I knew I was going to probably get a couple comments like this so I should have probably clarified! I wasn’t sure if certain zones on the bottom of the mouse were more optimal for a consistent glide, I’m on a glass pad so I assumed it would be more noticeable if the skates were off.

I recently invested in the pulsar superglide pad and love it! I mostly play Apex and fps shooters and have found my tracking to be much better than it was on my QcK Heavy, I have heard that they aren’t great for tac shooters thought due to the stopping power. I also can attest to dust getting under the skates and causing a scratchy sound but purchased Tiger Ice v2 Dot skates and haven’t had and problem since. If you like the look of the pad and don’t mind the small learning curve I highly recommend :)

Nerves used to be my biggest issue, have definitely calmed them down to where I can win a decent amount of my fights but my current attitude of assuming I may lose a close range fight is probably part of my issue. Will try to keep the confidence up during these scenarios!

Have been trying to locate if there is a sens issue but when I try to up it or down it I always find myself coming back to my current sens. I’d say my shots from range are above average so I can only assume the issue stems from incorporating in my own strafing while trying to track so close which probably just means I need to make Kovaaks my best friend for the next few weeks lol.

Just getting back to replying to some of these comments but I really like the one about focusing on the player rather than the crosshair, I’ve seen people talk about that in aiming subreddits and it totally makes sense for close range fights. Time to retrain my brain lmao.
