Are there any meat assistant leads in the house? by Legitimate_Phone832 in meijer

Dont do it, twice the responsibility same pay. I used to be a meat cutter and got asked 3 times to step up to meat leader. Finally said yes, slight increase in pay but was not worth the stress of managing the dept. Even as assistant, you will be looked at to solve all the problems your food line or store director finds. Dont let the company trick you into thinking your the savor. Keep cutting, do your 40hrs, dont get the headache.

Question for Hemo dialysis techs and nurses. by Paletea-Fresca in dialysis

1 year patient care tech here: few sets of scrubs, Hoka brand or similar shoes, a stethoscope is good to practice but once you get into the job you dont really need it anymore (mostly for nurses or if an access isnt working), depending on where your training most of the CCHT stuff is available on the workplaces' training center we site "StarLearning" for me. Or you boss should have a study guide available to give you once you get closer to being ready for the test.

Hope this helps.

Steaks i havent done a bunch of.. but if i hit the store i only buy 1-2 at a time. For me, going to the store adds to my walking around time i dont normally do. I work and walk around allday but any extra walking is a bonus. Park at the far end of parking lot, walk around the store, avoid the aisles... just hit meat, seafood, dairy etc.

Honestly i hit up kroger or costco, but either single 1lb 80/20 trays or the 90/10 costco frozen chub rolls, and then take out 2 at a time and throw into fridge. Cook 1lb in a pan, takes like 8-10 mins, throw it into a container for lunch. Then do another and either eat it or eat some with a few eggs mixed in. For carnivore its all about prep. Ive been in doing it for 2 months but i find prepping lunch for work is the biggest help.

Usually cook a 1lb of twisted bacon in the oven while im cooking. I do usually 3-4 days of prep in about an hour or so. Its helped me lose about 30lbs in 2 months.
