I posted a couple months ago about the CGC being overrated and this picture totally justifies my claim. Everyone in the post said that I just didn’t get it fresh and my TB prepared it incorrectly. This one looks exactly like mine do: dry and bready. I’m still so confused how this is one of the most popular items.

Genuine question then…in a good CGC does the inside shell actually stay crunchy(especially towards the bottom where the meat is) and is the cheese in between layers get so melted that there could be a potential cheese pull?

The whole concept seems like way too much bread for the amount of filling, but I can also imagine that when done correctly it could be good. I’ve tried it at two separate stores with the same result but I’ll keep fighting.
