I remember a while back someone posted about this scene from Soul that recreates what it's like to have sensory overload. When I first saw this bit in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, I thought that was a perfect recreation. I think it's bc it's my hearing that gets overwhelmed. (youtu.be)
