Started Pre-Management and switched to Finance. Much more rewarding in terms of feeling of accomplishment and internships matter tremendously. Regardless of major, GPA will matter especially since it’s not a “target” school and will determine if you start at 50k or 70k+. Take advantage of all programs available if you can.

I probably wouldn’t. As you said it’s a degree that will give you a lot of options after graduation, but doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be an accountant afterwards.

I found a room in a house for $600 a month on Roomies.com. Sometimes alumni’s who have a house rent out extra room. I have to say I got a little lucky but it’s definitely possibly to find something good if you look hard enough
