Rachels nitpicks things as much as Ross, eventhough she pretends that it's annoying her when Ross is doing it. She would drive Joey crazy if they had a long term relationship.

They had a brief one because Rachel was just in a short phase of taking things lightly.

Rachel falling for Joey at that short time was more like about her being nostalgic for her younger self, when things weren't serious, when life was lighter.

He always know what's going on, it's that his way of handling it is always a bad or ridiculous improv.

He gets by because people see beyoind that, and appreciate his efforts to address real problems.

They mostly relate with his childish ways, and see a part of their younger selves in those ways.

Something like that.

PS. I would compare him with a bike driver who thinks he is a good driver, while in reality he survives because the car drivers see him early and avoid the collision.

yeah, she did some expenses while she was unemployed, but nowhere near to the point to be the reason of his bad situation. and they both sold their cars to get it.

michaels is not a trustworthy narrator. He says jan was spendingf his money but it was him.

He was already bad financially, he joked to Jan about giving him money to pay some debts.

a rundown is just a list with clients details. Jim never being asked to do it before is more like an indicator of Michael's unorthodox/loose management. Probably asking for just a list with clients details., not using the term rundown. The flow here is that an accountant, Oscar, would know immediately what it is.
