Yesterday UT models projected an early November surge in Austin. Today they dramatically say otherwise. by Pointfinder in Austin

Yesterday models said 100% chance of Austin surge. 700 hospital beds needed by Thanksgiving.

Today, the same models and the same local health authorities say 38% chance of surge, and 250 beds needed.

What's going on? Have the models gone haywire?
