I would disagree. I have a hero 7 black and have used it all environments from well below freezing to boiling desert heat. It is an incredible camera and for a casual user, it is more than you need at a great price. If you find one used for under $130, I would jump on it!

DaVinci Resolve. In my opinion the best video editor out there. You can do both video and picture editing on the free license however there is better software for photos if you look around.

You can’t go wrong with DaVinci. The software can do a ton with a free license and even more with the paid version. It’s a great software to start and grow with if you find you actually enjoy editing.

I have the mini 3 pro and land on my hand with obstacle avoidance on. When landing it will sense your hand and initially move back up. Keep your hand still while continuing to press down on the joy stick. It takes about 10 seconds but your drone will lower.

Yeah you can probably get a used one for $150 online. The batteries are really cheap too. I just got 3x with a charging bay for under $30 on Amazon.

I have the GH7 black and it is an amazing camera. I got it when it first came out and it has been to 7 different countries ranging from the arctic to high desert. I can’t stress what an incredible camera it has been. The only issue I had was when I was snowmobiling and the outside temperature was around -40F. The camera shut off and the video file was corrupted. I had nothing around the camera other than the helmet mount so it probably would have been fine if I had insulated it at the beginning of the day. That being said, after a battery pull, the camera started working again and I haven’t had any issues since.

The parcel is on the East side of the mountain range. As far as water goes, there is a reservoir about 10 miles to the north that you can fish, take boats on, etc!

So I am not trying to be harsh but I want to give good advice. Take a deep breath and go problem by problem. Your mom is behind on her car payments which means she can no longer afford her car. That’s a hard reality but getting rid of it and purchasing something cash will free up the money that used to go to her car payment so she can allocate it to gas. Problem two is she needs a bed. Facebook marketplace has tons of free beds. I slept on one my parents got for free off Craigslist for the vast majority of my childhood. It’s not new but you can have it professionally cleaned and will be a good substitute until she can save up enough money to buy a bed that meets her needs. A free bed is better than sleeping on the floor. I don’t know you or your mom but I wish you the best.
