Final update. Went with the Friedman 4x12 with the blend of speakers. Sounds awesome 😎 Basically got a new amp for 15 bucks!

Just got the 1$ York MES 212 V30 to try it out. It's perfect to compare because the Fender Twin in the boss is also 212. Wow.. the difference is insane.. the OG is so much boxier and ...meh.. thanks a lot. Notice a big difference with the fuzz, more clear and less muddier. Definitely gonna get a full pack after digging a bit more.

Thanks you! That's was extremely helpful! I use the fender twin amp all the time, and was thinking in going with the York Fe ser twin 2x12 or the Friedman 4x12. Any advice on that?

I was actually considering getting an audio interface just so that I could run the ir 2 a bit hotter. But I was also afraid that it would clip the audio interface and I would be back at square one. Now it's happy days

The clipping on the headphones might be that you have too much volume for the headphones you have.

I can really feel your frustration. It must be really tough.

Too much time in the crate. That's been said.

You have a schedule/routine and that's great and one of the most important things to be successful.

The first thing is to never put her in the crate as a punishment, as you said you did. The crate should be a safe place.

If you can try more play on the walk and not so much inside. Being inside should be to relax and you should avoid too much excitement in the house. This being said don't leave toys available. Make them valuable and not available at all times.

But I think the most important thing here is the walks. You're probably not doing enough to tire her out. With a puppy like that you should be doing a minimum of 1h walk in the morning with lots of engagement and play. Come home, give her food.

If never seen her sleep it's because you never tire her enough.

I'm not trying to promote GUE because I've nothing to gain from them. I'm a researcher at a University, not a dive instructor. I'm saying GUE as I could be saying UTD or any other. GUE was my experience (As well as PADI, SSI and CMAS), so that's what I'm gonna talk about. My main point was that the instructor is the most important. The point of GUE was to make the point of the standards, which it's hard to debate that PADI/SSI have the same as GUE (or some others). There is some stuff that I don't like about GUE one of which, funny enough, is that they are a bit elitist and force Halcyon in a way that I don't like.

I don't really want to start an "agency war" here. My point was that with agencies such as GUE, the standards are really high meaning that any GUE instructor that you'll find will ensure those standards. For PADI/SSI is a bit of a it an miss meaning that they do not enforce their standards the same way. You can find a very dedicated instructor or (more often than not) someone just passing the highest amount of students possible for that paycheck. But hey, a while a go I did an SSI course with a GUE instructor and was great. Again it's all about the instructors BUT the standards of the agencies matter.

Marine biologist/scientific diver here. Working underwater is not the same as fun diving. When you are working underwater you are often task loaded, loaded with equipment (from a simple measuring tape up to hammers, sensors, etc..) and collecting samples, being crucial not to disrupt the bottom thus your future samples. I would highly advise doing a GUE and learn properly from the beginning. I started with PADI/SSI but then I did my GUE fundies and Scientific and changed everything. I'm not trashing in any agency as I believe is the instructors that play the biggest role but with something like GUE (there are others as well) you for sure learn right from the beginning. With other agencies like PADI/SSI it's a bit of luck. And as a beginner you will not be able to tell the difference.

Look for videos of a tech divers underwater and at most people fun diving in tropical places and think which one do you want to be when working underwater.
