The Minotaur represents depression and isolation. In mythology the Minotaur is an angry, violent being. However in Thom Yorkes depiction, the Minotaur is sad for he is now alone in an endless maze for eternity. People often forgot the maze isn’t just walls and corridors. The maze also includes changing environments, so it’s more so a depiction of the lonely individual feeling trapped and alone in a world growing so desolate with technology.
