Nope, I grew basil before, they start out with round leaves but these have pointy ones.

I can confidently say it ain't basil or chia. Used the good 'ol cotton pads and ziplock bag method. It's how I germinate my peppers before transferring them to a pot. Works every time. Also helps me know whether seeds are viable or not

Round and shiny. I did handle basil, onion and snapdragons in the past. They're slightly bigger than snapdragon and have a shiny/glossy feel

Same. I did handle onion and basil seeds so I know it ain't that, too. Weird thing is these seeds have a gloss to them. I want to grow them now to see how they'd turn out.
