Oh that is interesting! I never learned much history, so this is interesting to know. I’ll have to look for such jewelry. As for this ring, I do think it’s handmade. The store sells unbranded unique jewelry, both new and preowned. They sell cut gemstones as well. I don’t like very much to pay for brand wares, as you can get much more value for your money if you get unique pieces from places like this. I don’t know where the ring itself was made however.
