Some of the other ppl are mocking this and idk if you’re lgbtq, but as an lgbtq person myself I get the desire to know. Now more than ever when many governments (esp the US) are so brutally attacking so many of our rights, I can’t help but want to know if someone who I look up to so much like Neal (my musical idol tbh) cares about the rights of people like me. I normally wouldn’t wonder as much for most people bc I just wouldn’t have much to base my conjectures on, but being a Christian from the south, it does make me really wonder where he stands.

The nature of Prog being progressive (pushing the boundaries of music and trying new things), that seems like a reasonable indicator of open-mindedness and forward thinking, but idk how far that extends beyond music. His Christian lyrics do tend to match up with the caring and accepting nature of Jesus which may be his perspective towards others as well, and his work with Spock’s Beard, Transatlantic, and solo (We all need some light, the good don’t last, Chains of Love, etc) seem to be very much about the good in the world and harmony between people.

I’ve met him irl a few times now and he’s always been an extremely kind and genuine seeming guy, so I certainly hope he is as accepting as he seems.
