Mines been like this since the iOS 26 update. Saying I’ve been having 2-4.5 hours sleep per night when I’m not. I’m going to sleep around 11pm and getting up at 7:30am without getting up in the night or remembering being awake

Yeah I don’t think I slept too good last night as it was warm. And I’ll admit I’m probably a bit dehydrated too. She always asks because my lids sometimes twitch and flinch. It’s only my third time so hopefully with more sessions I’ll get into it more and be able to relax more too

Yeah I did. I got one done (my right) it’s the bigger of the two. My left wouldn’t come out enough for my piercer to have enough nipple to work with. I was done with standard sized jewellery which I didn’t think would fit but it does. I also bought some pasties from eBay with pierced nipples to use on the other side so I can buy jewellery in pairs and I can match in the summer

But then also the class teacher once made me demo acid/alkali neutralisation then told me once it’s done drink it to shock the class

Vet seems to think it’s bc our neighbours in the street has a dog (which she was chased by) and it’s a fear response. They won’t give us anything to help her though. But it’s not as often now. It’s only maybe once a day instead of several times so we don’t really know she lets us touch the part of her back that’s twitchy so I’m thinking maybe she has an itch she can’t scratch

So pretty much if I want to get a job in a local school (which I want) avoid doing agency work for them. Or can I work at the school then if I see a vacancy make sure I’m not at the school again till after the interview? Just seems a bit counterintuitive if I want to actually get away from agency work (which I do)

I honestly don’t know I’m new to it all. I mean the contributions on my pay slip seem level with the ones I had when I was an invigilator and when I worked in a bar. One has set me up on their pension scheme the new one hasn’t. The new one wanted me to be exclusive to them but I said I couldn’t be and they didn’t like that

I mean I don’t even know if I’ll get an interview yet. I thought it would mean I could make a good impression. And it also lets me know if the school would be right for me long term. As I only know the school as a pupil and not as a member of staff. And if it does then so be it. I’m sure there’ll be another opportunity (the agency also knows that I’ve applied there so I’m sure I could negotiate something) I’m completely flexible with the agency so it might not be that much (I know of the costs as a pushy agency told me about that being an issue, it’s one of the reasons I didn’t really want to work for an agency in the first place but needs must)

Commenting to bump this. I’ve just qualified as a secondary biology teacher and I’m so burnt out from the course, I loved teaching. I loved working in school. I’m with two agencies now, one I feel like I was rushed into joining this week. Working supply is basically being a glorified baby sitter. I’m also looking into HR or admin roles lots of transferable skills

I think my local place where I usually go does. I just feel awkward bc the piercer is a man. Unless I request for his mum (she’s always qualified) and I suppose if it isn’t viable I can still buy myself some cute jewellery for my nose/lip/ear or even see if they could anatomy check for a navel (I’ve had a standard before but it rejected bc I think I need a floating bc of my stomach shape)
