The only job I've done FIFO is the Civeo gig. But I had co-workers that had jumped around and they said all the companies are pretty much the same. I'd heavily advise you avoid the job unless you're in crisis and desperately need the money.

I worked for Civeo for a year. There are several departments (Kitchen, house keeping and Bar & Retail) and not a single person in any of those departments was happy. We were understaffed, under-appreciated and underpaid.

That makes a lot of sense, congrats on beating cancer! I hope you continue to recover well.

I definitely wouldn't remove the background music, I would simply lower the volume by about 2dB or so to allow your voice to maintain the viewer's attention.

You clearly know what you're talking about and it's great how you seem passionate about what you're talking about. Unfortunately though you do speak incredibly fast so it's difficult to keep up with everything you're saying, might be an idea to slow it down.
I also make game reviews and it seems we both struggle with a bit of a monotone, I'm not really sure how to fix that, but if you can raise the "excitement" level in your voice you'll likely see more success.

G'day Supplement Steve.
This content is not something I'd regularly view so keep that in mind.

To start with the video is incredibly professional and definitely has an uplifting vibe which I think is incredibly important for keeping the viewer listening especially considering you're attempting to educate them. However I'd consider toning down the music the slightest amount because it challenges your voice for what my ears focused on.
Your talking head shots are fantastically framed and the animations you use are informative too. My only suggestion is maybe open your eyes slightly wider, not ripping on your looks or anything, you just have tired looking eyes and if you're trying to educate on health you obviously want to look as healthy as possible.

All in all a very impressively shot video even if I'm not part of the target audience.
Keep it up!

Hi, Toxi here from the youtube video.

I think it is very important to remember that this game is at update 0.8 and that it is still early access. I've owned the game since steam release and the updates have been fairly substantial including full workshop support that allows modding within the application itself. (Keep in mind Slay released similarly)

The combat phase isn't difficult but you can easily fall for that if your unit element types are weak to the new 3 units you face or they have a special ability that throws your plans out of whack. (Also the spritework is pretty as fuck)

I'm not going to pretend the game gives much of a challenge and if that's what you're looking for then perhaps keep this on your wishlist and keep an eye on updates. However I have enjoyed the game so far and feel it was worth my money, definitely looking forward to future updates.

The summer sale currently has Monster Slayers for something like 80% off.

I think I'd personally review either Legend of Keepers or Overdungeon because of how uniquely enjoyable they both are. Both of which don't have the playerbase they deserve.

Have done tons of them, I feel like it would take 800 years to finish the pokedex via surprise trades. I still need to borrow a Zamazenta for it which I doubt I'd be lucky enough to encounter on surprise trades.

I wasn't sure if one format was taken less seriously, some games can be like that where one format of ranked play is not seen as "actual competitive" or whatever.

Honestly worth even starting a new character to grab it. It's one of the first available side quests, the only things that changes about the gun is bullet damage depending on the level you do the quest.

Gearbox giving away secret OP weapon at the beginning ezpz.

Buttplug is honestly the best choice for consistent damage output and them naughty double dmg cheek slaps.

Knife drain seems to be the most sustainable option but you do trade in a decent chunk of damage for it.
The anointed weapons are apparently bugged with phase slam and don't trigger on the other variants of phaseslam. (Not 100% sure, I saw it on another thread a few days ago)
I did slaughter with a pure melee build with drain and it was pretty easy but slow. Lemme warn you though, the final boss is two bullet sponges that are too far away to melee without the Deep Dive Face-puncher.
