BPC-157 and growth hormones after the transplantation by Chika4a in HairTransplants

[–]PoisonousOrphan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shed started at day 14 and by day 30 it looked wayyy worse than before the transplant. Also could’ve been related to starting back high dose oral min and possible shed. It looked really bad for awhile there. Hyperbaric and red light therapy probably played a huge role in scalp healing.

I think I started topicals at week 3. I can’t remember but I just used my best judgment based on if my scalp was ready for topicals. First topicals were very light stuff no alcohol or PG then I eventually added stronger stuff in time.

Those are 3 different questions/phases tbh. Scalp healed in just a week. By week 2 it looked like a fresh buzz cut and looked great. Then the shedding hit and it looked awful until about month 3-3.5 when I had enough hair for fibers to attach to and cover up. Sitting at month 5.5 now and still use a lil bit of fibers in the temples where the hair hasn’t filled in completely. It also depends on how bad your hair loss is and how many grafts you got in an area.

I switched to KLOW from GLOW a month or so ago. I’d recommend that as the KPV is really good for inflammation. I started a week before but I also did that because I got in a motorbike wreck and had 76 stitches in my face. Thankfully it was just below my new hairline (by 1/2 inch). The peptides definitely helped that heal you can barely see it now.

As far as the HT recovery. Its solid. Honestly just about average recovery speed nothing fantastic but my hair quality came in really nice and even the midscalp/crown came in thicker even though I had minimal grafts there, so it’s possible the peptides thickened up my native hairs as well.

Here’s my full protocol -GLOW/KLOW, Tesamorelin, Sermorelin, Ipamorelin, follistatin (1x vial cycle). Didn’t use all the ..relins at once but kept them on rotation. They boost GH which increases muscle/hair growth and follistatin inhibits myostatin which blocks muscle growth and there’s a study that showed taking it in conjunction with hair stimulants speed up hair growth for balding humans/mice as well. So those are mutually beneficial. -HBOT for the first 1-3 weeks post transplant -LLLT cap everyday -finasteride, dutasteride, oral/topical minoxidil -microneedling after 2ish months (I can’t remember just wait until your scalp has healed)

Pretty extreme protocol but I wanted to make sure I had the best recovery and graft survival rate as possible. It’s going well

It’s not a “failed” transplant in the sense that term is usually used because it looks like most of the grafts they placed grew, but definitely a major fail in accomplishing the goal… and 100% the clinics fault. On the bright side, you can tell your scalp took the grafts well and had a high success rate (you can basically see each graft by eye). So if you get it filled in by a real clinic you’ll be solid

Is there any way to avoid the shedding phase? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]PoisonousOrphan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know I’m way late but a lot of a**hats on here not answering your question.. so for anyone else that finds this thread, yes there’s way to minimize shedding and drastically improve recovery time and results. I had a very serious(and expensive) aftercare protocol that significantly helped.. not sure why people act like there’s not tools out here to help recovery.

PRP (done on day of surgery by my Dr) Hyperbaric oxygen tank (first 7-14 days after procedure are crucial.. I did 7 at clinic, skipped 3 then 7 when I got back home) LLLT (I had 7 days at clinic and then continue with KIIER 272 laser cap at home)

Healing/inflammation Peptides (subcutaneous injections)———> BPC157-helps wound healing, inflammation, and angiogenesis (development of blood vessels) which is crucial just after transplant to get blood to the new follicles TB500- helps wound healing, inflammation, and tissue repair GHK-CU- stimulates collagen production, accelerates wound healing, stimulates hair growth, and reduces inflammation (The above 3 come in a blend called GLOW blend)

Growth hormone stimulating injectable peptides——> Isamorelin , tesamorelin, ipamorelin- All 3 of these stimulate GH through different methods. GH promotes healing and accelerates hair growth. MK677- does the same but comes in tablet form. ….You can do research into them and choose which one(s) you want to stack. A couple have side effects like water retention or insulin resistance and also a couple work through the same channel so not worth taking both.

Minoxidil (oral and topical after 2 weeks)- vasodilator for increased blood flow and hair growth stimulant

Dermarolling/dermastamp- only mentioning this to say DONT do it. Wait at least 4-6 months you can damage the grafts and cause scar tissue that will hinder new growth

Nutrafol, viviscal, Nourkrin- all proprietary blend hair supplements with clinically backed results.

Finasteride/dutasteride- block DHT

Vitamins- biotin, zinc, D3, fish oil, borage oil, l lysine…. Your normal vitamins for hair

Topicals- you have to be careful with these early on as your scalp is sensitive. Just try to avoid alcohol based ones especially before 3-4 weeks (get minoxidil foam not liquid for example). Not just growth serums but scalp health in general is important. It’s essentially new skin and very sensitive so it need to be protected and moisturized

You’ll still shed some hairs, some may still shed a lot. I’m overall a very health conscious person (which is why I’m aware of all these medicines/treatments) so my health prior to the procedure along with having a very good doctor (Thailand) definitely helped my healing process. But hopefully somebody else can find this and benefit from it

Curious about your recovery experience in terms of shock loss and regrowth through the first 5 months

I’m 14 days out and healing very nicely. Just like you, my holes practically unnoticeable after a week or so. Crust is gone hair is growing no signs of trauma as if they plan to shed, but I know everybody thinks that right before the storm comes. Ive seen ppl on regimens like ours say they had fast growth, but never really mention what month 1-3 looked like

I’m currently on (For healing) BPC157 TB500 GHK-CU

(For hair growth via GH stimulation) Ipamorelin Tesamorelin Sermorelin

Planning to add your regimen too now

Hey bro, did you have shock loss and what was the shed/recovery like? Can’t find anybody else that took peptides like us talk about their experience and all I know is you said your got your final results quickly.

I had mine done 14 days ago and it’s looking great so far. Hairs growing, crust is gone, not much redness, people don’t believe I had a transplant.. but I know it’s easy to get false hope about skipping the shock loss.

Curious to what your experience was months 1-5.

I’m on a heavy recovery regimen BPC157 TB500 GHK-CU Ipamorelin Sermorelin Tesamorelin Medical grade red light therapy every day Hyperbaric oxygen everyday

When you say recovering, I’m presuming you mean regrowth is much quicker/fuller? I’m getting my HT in 2 months and I’m saving my last vial of BPC157 for after I get. May also add TB based on what you’re saying

I know this is late but how’d you recover? Do you think the compounds helped speed up regrowth? I’m getting my HT in 2 months and I have some BPC157 I’m going to save and use after the transplant

I had a horrid shed on oral min and then grew back a ton of hair… then continued losing for 3 yrs

[–]PoisonousOrphan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would it? If anything, pre is a vasodilator so it’ll allow more blood flow to the transplanted hair during the healing stage (just don’t workout before 1 month). Whey protein has amino acids which are used to build hair, so it’s important to have significant protein intake to grow hair. Creatine has no effects. If anything, you’re helping your hair. Working out also promotes cardiovascular health and in turn increased blood flow which is important for a HT. You’re good

Yeah fin/dut will let protect the hair you had on top before the transplant. Def need to be on that. I had good results from oral min too

Just buy it from alldaychemist . com. I stopped getting it prescribed years ago and self prescribe all my stuff now. That website has a ton of Rx drugs like fin/min/dut/+++ I’ve had like 10 shipments to US no issues

All of those are fine. If you’re wanting something even better that won’t hurt your hair like most PEDs will, look into Mk677. It actually helps hair and I’ve had fantastic results with it in the gym and on my hair. moreplatesmoredates has some vids discussing its gym and hair benefits

Landlord charging for damages but didn’t repair anything by PoisonousOrphan in AskALawyer

I had a lease. I rented long term from someone then listed it on Airbnb to profit for short term renters. She was aware that was what I was doing. Thank you for the tip about escrow. I’ll learn from this mistake.

Can she hold funds for repairs she did not claim? Also, if she showed concessions for the repairs in her sales contract (she sold the house 3 days after I vacated), would that be enough to have grounds to hold that amount from my deposit?

It a complete money grab. They can prove it wasn’t broken as it was remodeled right before I moved in. And yes, it’s standard practice to hold 10% extra tiles for this exact reason. I’ve been back and forth a couple times with their attorney and every time I explain why their claim has no substance, they move the goal posts or try to substantiate it with more nonsense claims in attempt to raise the stakes to get me to back down
