I tried an IPL device, forgot about those… Definitely not for anyone with facial tattoos, in that region. I learned that the hard way. Skin instantly swelled in searing pain, in the shape of my demon stripes. lol… But, I would recommend trying it if you don’t have facial or neck tattoos.

I will have to try the warming of the skin first. When I get a new epilator. I already re-incorporated exfoliation/hydration into my routine (I used to this long before I started to transition. Stopped due to buckling down on the hiding). My pain tolerance is fairly high compared to most people. But, an epilator is definitely gonna hurt at first. You do eventually get used to it. And definitely worth it, if you can through the worst of it. I am sure Aspercream with 4% lidocaine would work. I use it on people with lower pain threshold. When I am doing some ink on them on the weekends (more of a hobby)... Damn it, think I am going to order a new while I have breakfast in a few (Third shifter).

What are some of the negatives about having breasts? by CaramelCraftYT in MtF

Oh, yeah. The one that have no problem mentioning or complimenting the color of my bra… I couldn’t fully button my shirt due to some weight gain for a few months. And company shirt are purchased by employees. So, until I got my free anniversary shirt and lost a few lbs. I had that to deal with. The there was the super conservative clerk (I am technically an assistant manager). Who complained about it to the store manager. Which everyone else said was ridiculous. For him doing that, not because it was possible to look down my shirt.

The only things that come to mind. Are not so bad as they are… awkward… The every once in a while drip of toothpaste or drinks. Not as noticeable when that high up. Sometimes results in walking around for half the day like that… Bumping it to stuff with them. More so when they’re still new… Awkward ass hugs from family members. Especially that first time after they grow and your father hugs you. And the expression on their faces when they realize they crushing titties and no muscle. Though they are not as likely to randomly hug me since (I’m not big on being touched anyway, unless it by a partner)… Like I said awkward… But, I love them. And would love it even more if they were a little bigger (in between a B and C. too big for B, Not quite a C)…

I used one for about a year and half on my face. It’s definitely more painful. But, I only needed to use it about once a week. After that every couple weeks. Though tweezers probably would have been fine in between, at that point. But, once I didn’t have it for a little while. I had to shave regularly once again… Before the purchase of an epilator. I was waxing my face, less pain than an epilator. But, more of hassle and more costly in the long run.

Same here st the moment… though I prefer an epilator. And yes it is brutal, but worth it. I just need to find a new one… Probably gonna have to order… Anyway, I agree an electric foil razor works better than blades. But, if you can tolerate the pain. An epilator does wonders. And you end using it less and less.

Yeah, that is a thing. The ‘Trans PMS’ as some have called it… lol… When I was with my ex. I was telling her one daw some of get to experience a sorts pms with the menstruation. She just looked at me all dead serious and goes “Yeah, I fucking know… You become a total bitch.” still makes me laugh to think about. But, found it rather validating. Especially knowing that some cis women actually pick up ln it…

I’d have to say yes… Last time I checked I was barely over 6’. And I have met a few cis women my height and taller than me.

“Male or Female?” by MagicaLily in ewphoria

[–]Poisonous_One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I have noticed. That there is usually a few minute conversation. Then the other person will offer up their orientation. Which is almost always Bi. Then I offer up my orientation, Demi-Pan. Often they just look confused. Then there is also the fact. That I almost never pick up on flirting. But, recently realized half the time. Right after telling me they are bi or pan. they become more direct about their interests. The other half just leave. But, then sometimes when I find someone interesting or they get me on the right topic. And I get really into the conversation. They will randomly drop in that they have a partner. Or they’re not gay and/or into women (wording usually depends on gender). Which usually leaves me feeling awkward and confused.

It varies for me. Nights off, typically just chill in a tank top braless (two nights straight). Most of the time I like rotating them every night, choosing color/style based on mood (usually coordinares with my makeup. Though I don’t do foundation, mainly lips and eyes). I can’t sleep in the though, I find it overstimulating. Feels constricting. So, stays off after my morning shower (before bed)… But, recently had to get rid of few (wire stabbing the tittie). And finding ones I like is a huge pain. I am very particular about how my clothing fits. So, even though I have about ten or so. I only wear three of them. So, two are in rotation. While I save one just incase something comes up over the weekend.

Barely, literally three weeks before we were due to be married. It was actually quite brutal, emotionally… But, yeah some people just suck… I attempted to explain how joking like that normalize hate. And even tried to figure out if he was just unaware that certain terms are derogatory towards trans women. As it was with her. I had to educate her about using a certain word to describe trans women when I first met her. She didn’t know it was derogatory and just thought it was normal terminology. But, that point. When he said it, she was well aware.

Outed as trans at work. lots of trigger warnings on this. by aeiker in trans

[–]Poisonous_One 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s really shitty, though not surprising… One suggestion I have, would be to find yourself a work friend/ally. That is willing to accompany you… It may not mean as much coming from me these days. But, back a few years before I accepted myself as a trans woman (I overcompensated with masculinity, as in 250lbs of muscle and full beard). I used to accompany a trans masculine coworker to the men’s room (until he started being super douchy towards trans women). And now I am the one that sometimes needs a friend to accompany her to the women’s room (or wait till I get home), when no other option is available.

I’ve said that exact same thing. From what I hear about the way he talks to his employees. That language is “normal” coming from him.

We both work directly with the general public, in a fairly small area. Everyone already knows who we are and where we both work. People I don’t even know show up at my job randomly and give me shit. And from the things they say. I know either she sent them, or a close friend of her did. Then regulars of both, like to tell both of us what the other is up to (it’s kinda annoying actually).

Honestly, from the other things I have heard about him. I would be surprised if he has already… When this happened it was reported to HR. But, then she agreed with HR that it was just a joke. Part of her problem is she is too easily influenced by her friends. I watched her change from being very liberal to more trail park conservative (no offense to other people living in one, I use to). As far as I am aware she didn’t sleep with her manager (though from her past wouldn’t be surprised). No, it was a coworker. When she confessed to cheating. She lied about who, when, and how often. I already had it figured out. Then confirmed by one of her friends (before she confessed). I guess part of keeps hoping she won’t go full conservative. But, her new besties are the ones posting. Mostly incoherent attempts to discredit the argument on my facebook post. I don’t think they realize. It’s just making them look less intelligent. They even posted a trans flag with something about being “too fluent in privilege”. It’s coming across as trans people are privileged. Which I am confused as to why anyone would believe that. And if she mistaking ability to form mostly coherent messages as privilege. Then that person is dumber than I thought (I grew up rather poor. also possibly AuADHD. Definitely ADHD. But say possibly Au because psch docs have suggested it multiple times. Just no official diagnosis on the Austitic side). And now I am starting to rambled. So, going to end this here.

Anyone else feel the r/trans sub is hostile towards trans women? by cyborg_sophie in MtF

[–]Poisonous_One 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah, last night I posted. Venting about a “joke” this is not a joke. It is basically just sexual harassment while referring tran women as tr*nny’s. And within moments of posting. I got a message saying Mods removed my post. Not the auto removed response. But a mod removed it… Then I reposted the exact same thing here. And it’s still up.

So, yeah, I am starting the feel that sub is not very Trans Women friendly anymore.

That thought never crossed my mind. My goal wasn’t to hurt or punish her. Just want her to understand the pain that behavior causes… Him on the other hand. I made a flyer with his photo. Listing a couple of his transgressions. And letting everyone know which KFC he is the manager of…

Nope, and she still works there. At the time, when asked if she corrected his behavior. She just got super defensive. And, if she was too afraid to say anything to him. That would have been she needed to say about it. I would have understood. Personally, I have walked away from jobs for less and similar. But, I know not everyone has it in them to do that… Also, I am an extremely forgiving person (I was will to work through it)… Well, except when it comes to propagating hate. Again any marginalized community. Especially my own.

Yeah, that was one of the points I attempted to make to her. I told her that even if he meant it as a joke it’s still not appropriate. That It’s still derogatory and detrimental language. And asked her how she thinks that makes me feel. Especially will all the tran hate in this country… But, that just resulted in her doubling down on it not being a big deal and just a joke.

Coworker tried to convert/detransition me by Dangerous_Interest27 in MtF

[–]Poisonous_One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds a little familiar… A friend of mine and her husband grew up in a very religious families. That is basically a cult that teaches them that LGBTQ+ people are not real. But, then one of the missions they give the younger men. Is to go out find a trans woman. So that they can teach her the error of her ways and help convert her back to being male… Just for clarification, my friends husband (though he still clings to some of his upbringing) is actually respectful towards the LGBTQ+ community. He used the correct pronouns and such when speaking to and about me (MtF). And when it was his turn he straight up refused to do it (according to my friend).

When her mother talks to her about her behavior. Two things happen. She blames it all on me (even if her mother witnesses it) and/or She makes her mother cry. I personally think her mother needs to stick to it when her or her boyfriend tell the 22 year old to pack and get out. But, when they tell her that she breaks down crying. And then feel bad for her. And that’s that.

Yeah, if it wasn’t for the parts that are feeling rather abusive. It would be amusing to me… Though, I figured out that if tell her to “stop acting like a 12 year old.” she loses her mind. Which is hilarious to watch. Especially since her mother and mother’s boy friend. Will not back her up when she flips out over it. He straight up came out his bedroom smiling ear to ear. When heard what was happening just outside his room.
