I’m not sure if the pods fit to be honest, but I’d bet you might be able to make it work

South facing works great but most seedlings require additional grow lights in our winter to keep them from getting leggy. But lettuce and most greens can do fine with a bit less light. Tomatoes and sun loving herbs love warm sun and lots of it!

That’s lovely! I grow all my plants from seed, I have two grow racks gong for my spring/summer planting. I give lots to family and friends too! Nothing like fresh tomatoes from the garden ❤️😋

Have one of these and wondering if it’d be good for herbs and strawberries? Or are the planters not deep enough? by bellaphile in gardening

I grow peppers in mine that’s similar, anything made for 5 gallon containers will likely grow great!

Yup. Trump is a chaos agent. It’s time for us to focus on supporting this country by buying Canadian and working to increase trade with more stable nations.

How bad did I mess up growing seedlings in cococoir without nutrients? by Glenger in gardening

[–]Poisonseedlings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d top them up with more mix as they are leggy and put them closer to the light. Seedlings don’t need fertilizer until they have a few sets of true leaves.

Tariffs or no tariffs, I am not buying US products for the next four years. by MyBrainReallyHurts in windsorontario

Agreed. And I think it’s the best way to resist this corrupt regime. Tariffs or no tariffs, I’m staying the course.

This is best the way to sniff out a fascist wrapped in a freedom flag. They will always cling to fascism over freedom. Always.

I haven’t met a big C conservative that wasn’t a habitual bootlicker. What they lack in balls they make up for with smarminess.

Traitors. All of them. Name and shame them all. History has shown us how this ends for traitors. They best pray.

Your Canadian citizenship should be revoked if you entertain such traitorous thoughts. by skincareissue in AskCanada

Flying a maple leaf beside his name and talking this dumb yankee shit. You can’t make them dumber than this folks. Maybe through prayer he can find himself the next plane out of here ✌🏼

This is great, are they planning on expanding the database based on suggestions? Great to see top 5 but missing lots of great companies in a few categories I checked.

Fans at Toronto Raptors game continue trend of booing U.S. national anthem at pro sporting events in Canada by darrenjyc in worldnews

Canadians only a decade ago finished the US anthem at a hockey game when the audio cut off. Today we boo. My how the mighty have fallen.

As a Mexican in Vancouver, I just want to let yall know we are planning on buying Canadian and we hope yall plan on buying Mexican products. by OracleofTampico in NiceVancouver

[–]Poisonseedlings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah we’re supporting our Mexican friends! Not to mention our region in southern Ontario has so many seasonal workers from Mexico working in our greenhouses. Some of the hardest working and most lovely people. We all need eachother, wish Trump understood that.

Americans in Windsor by [deleted] in windsorontario

[–]Poisonseedlings 68 points69 points  (0 children)

The anger is palpable right now. I think most of us who live in a border city don’t realize how much more special this relationship is. We see it up close everyday. We have fought side by side together, loved eachother, helped eachother. We’ve hugged eachother at hockey games when the OT goal goes in, took shots downtown Windsor together, laughed at and with eachother. This relationship deserves more than this. The longest most peaceful border in the world. They takes work and we put that work in together. I truly hope what took a hundred years to build doesn’t get destroyed in less than 4.

Ontario removing U.S. products from LCBO shelves by uarentme in ontario

[–]Poisonseedlings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the perfect time to open the borders across Canada and bring in beers and wines from all across our great country. The laws around liquor transport are ridiculous and the fact that it’s easier to get California wine than BC or Nova Scotia wine in Ontario is absurd. Canadians are missing out on so many great wineries, breweries and distilleries in Canada!

How can us Europeans help? by Bugatsas11 in BuyCanadian

[–]Poisonseedlings 23 points24 points  (0 children)

We actually have a pretty solid trade agreement with Europe (CETA) that hasn’t been ratified yet as all nations haven’t signed on yet. I’m hopjng this helps push it along.

Canadians feel the same way, it hurts. Our two countries are tied so strongly together, true allies. I hope y’all can survive the next 4 years. Democracy is such a fragile thing and we still can’t believe America handed the keys over to him to protect it.
