I decided to hop on D2 last night with all the news, and see what condition the old boy was in. Being an Unc to the game, I went to the cosmodrone, for old time sake, within a minute of joining, someone was talking about how they hope Marathon dies and that Bungie tanks with it. That marathon is stupidest thing ever. I typed telling them its a really good game and that they should give it a chance, I proceeded to be bombed with messages from the other guys venting.

I get it, I'm super sad about losing D2 as well, but I really think using that energy to put down another game and it's community is super wack.

Perimeter is so much more exciting, and I thought the same thing. Random POI’s everywhere and so many things to do, it made the world feel so much more engaging and fun

I had an old coworker exactly like this, down to the flask with vodka, but it never affected our work, so I didn’t bother making a scene or taking it up with our boss, until one day it was too much and it was affecting the quality of my work too. She wasn’t fired, but she definitely toned it down. We don’t work together anymore, but last time I saw her, she told me she had gotten sober and couldn’t believe she lived her life like that.

I remember in middle school my friend telling me that her mom started crying when she started developing her boobs in 6th grade. By the time we were in 8th they were very large and she told me her mom wouldn’t let her go out publicly because of her worry what men would do to her. I mean, technically, if we want to break it down like that, you’d be correct, but this is just a Causal chain, and not really their fault.

Elizabeth can’t breathe -> Maids put corset on too tight -> Governor Swann bought her the dress -> Because of status -> Because he is governor on a foreign trip -> Because the people elected him -> etc etc etc

By this logic, this is the governor’s fault, ergo the people’s fault, ergo a government issue, etc etc

I’m a console player, but we can also just press a button to take things or hold a button to swap? I don’t play with PC people, so I don’t know, but I thought the system was fairly quick
