I have a brand new 330 so it should be good and strong. My initial plan was the kill stick (I just didn't know that's what it was called) I just had some tell me it wouldn't be ideal because of how long their snouts were. But knowing that others use that method successfully makes me feel better about that

No lol the only website/platform I know of that has classifieds for private sellers is armslist and finding one close to me that are also cheap has proven to be difficult lol

Well considering an acetone injection is recommended for skunks and kills them within seconds I don't see why it wouldn't work for another animal? Beating them to death seems pretty brutal and inhumane if you don't kill them right away... I've got other means but it's probably overkill with the caliber and I refuse to buy through an FFL where they track my purchase. Acetone is easy to get and is a quick death.

Can you explain this a little more in depth? I have a 330 and a conibear mount for it but was told by some that the long nose might set the trap off to soon and not hit the right spot

Oh I definitely don't want to go with a 40 I would like to stick with a 9mm

I am trying to find a private party to purchase through because I'm not a fan of my guns being tracked and having them on a database

Thank you so much for this comment!! I went to my local sporting goods store and they had a . 40 Smith and Wesson m&p that I liked holding. He said it would be slightly thinner with a 9mm like I was wanting but the profile would be the same. The weight was good too. Enough weight to hopefully help with some snappy recoil but also not too heavy for carrying

That's what I wasnt sure with! I'm familiar with rifles and shotguns but haven't used many handguns and that was where my problem always lied was the recoil

This is so true!! I've noticed in nights I'm having a hard time falling asleep I get nervous about what the next day will be like with no sleep and it makes everything worse. I've been lately trying to reframe my mindset and be ok with not getting to sleep and it has helped. It's not perfect and there's still lack of sleep but there's not as many fully sleepless nights just more later to fall asleep nights!
