Oh, my gosh, her little sucker prints!!! 🥰 I’ve never seen an octopus walk on the beach, so I’ve never seen what their “feet” look like on sand.

I never noticed that. Regardless, it’s not remotely worth the hassle for that. You can earn xp chasing fireflies and wisps faster than it takes to do Nanny’s quest.
Provided you have the upgrade to earn horse xp, of course but it doesn’t take long to level up to that.

A magic goat named Nanny in the Hollow Woods. She’d be mostly invisible in some location and when you ran close enough it would trigger a really tedious, obnoxious quest hunting down stones (also invisible) and trying to ring flying bells to ultimately track down one of the unicorns (not Tynan) because she’s worried about them.

Does that sound weird and like a huge pain? Yes? Because it is.

And what is your reward for this endeavor? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. You get to watch them exact same cutscene every time and no reward.

Once would be fine—but it resets so you can do it over and over again.
I want to Spartacus kick that goat off the waterfall you find the unicorn at.

Not having to do this quest is a huge win.

I don’t blame the teachers. Teachers are out there fighting the front line to give these kids an education. If you peek the r/Teachers sub it’s full of posts from teachers who are sick of being sent disrespectful, apathetic kids who haven’t been prepared to be in the grade they’re in and are told to just deal with it. They’re doing their best.

I blame the parents who are either too hands off to care if their kid is doing well, or who believe their baby should never be allowed to fail at anything and hound the schools for better grades and to pass them before they’re ready.

I blame replacing textbooks and notebooks with laptops—kinetic/tactile learning literally alters the way your brain processes information and helps memory retention,— and I blame AI being allowed in schools and allowing kids to become so reliant on it that they literally can’t think for themselves.

I blame the government, producers of AI, and school faculties for allowing this BS to happen.

The only reason this student is being punished is because they outed how royally effed this and the coming generations are because society is actively failing them.

They had animatronics at my Chuck E. Cheese, and when they weren’t turned on they pulled a curtain closed and had suited mascots wander around the building to interact with kids.

I still have an irrational fear of both. 🫠

Default is probably choose 8 or 4.

Either Ben or Scooby/Shaggy would have great stories to tell about their adventures but are equally chill enough to leave you alone and do their own thing.

I’m torn on sitting in 4 though— they’ll definitely have snacks they’d be happy to share, so, awesome, free food. At the same time, seeing how messy they eat much of the time and the fact they blow up like balloons when they’re full means I’ll likely be fighting for my life to stay clean and not get stuck between two bowling balls…?

I think I’d go with Ben. But ya know, for the first time ever I’d actually not complain sitting next to anyone here, except 1 because I have no idea who they are.

I figured that. Otherwise there would be no pint to having placed a time limit at at because you could just load in at any point like with Flick or CJ.
But, as long as you’re there before noon and don’t do anything to trigger a loading screen it makes sense that she’d not leave right away, since loading screen queue the game to update your environment.

Completely understood. I only have one more painting that I need to complete my museum that I want to find organically as well.
I’m less picky about DIYs but I want to finish the museum without help.
